@AroundSun there are of course not as many players as in CoD or battlefield but the ArmA community is very nice and you will find someone to play and that is what counts. idk if they are going to make it on console but i think this game is a little bit too big for a console i hink. you need even a very fast dualcore or even a quadcore, a pretty good video card (for example an ATI 4850) and lots of RAM to play this on medium/low settings. and a gamepad has not enough button to controll everything

@gotokill2 I think you should be alright. Your system is superior to mine (Q6600, 4Gig , Nvidia GTS 250 1Gig) and i play everything at Normal (medium) video settings.

I can't say for sure that you will run it smooth in Ultra, but you can always download the demo from Steam and see for yourself.

@baldwarfury Maybe, it would need more ram for better results. You would be running it at the lowest settings. everything on off or very low, res would be around 50% of your lowest res (the game allows you to have the res be 50%-200% of what ever you have it set to. so running a monitor at 1080p you can have twice or half that.) You would need a new CPU. Can never be 100% sure though, try the demo. The demo is for OA and requires more, so if you can run that you can run arma 2.
