people tend to get confused here. A 240sx has a KA24DE engine us spec, and theres a 180sx japan spec, that has the sr20det engine. people sometimes buy an sr20det and swap it into there 240sx. for a first car an sr20det will be way to fast even stock. you should go with a 240sx.

My boss had an sr20 on roughly 450rwhp @22psi.
Unless you take it above 4000rpm you might as well drive a hyundai.
Ofcourse once it gets going it transforms into a monster...

@Qban305toys that would be a GT 30 and he is on 100cc RC injectors but 720s will do fine. he had 1000s cuz he eventualy wanted to run e85

ouch 91 octane fuel! at lest we have 98 here but also catering for a smaller population! but we pay though .. 1.20 to 1.50 per litre

I kid I kid - but you did gave a little false information.
The 180SX came with the CA18DET. Which is a 1.8 liter DOHC electronically fuel injected turbo engine.
But yes - listen to him - everything else he stated is correct
