Thanks for your positive comments :) BSL and Auslan do share many signs (compared to say ASL and Auslan) but there are still some differences. Keep practicing and keep being exposed to Auslan any way you can, you will soon pick it up. The key is always practice
Darren I love your video's they're helpful as I'm trying to convert my bsl to auslan as i've moved back to Oz from London. Oh the signs are so different!!! I thought Auslan and Bsl were similar, well they are hey but quite alot of signs are different!!!! :) I sign in church too but might take a while before I do this over here. Which Auslan dialect is this Northern or Southern? I'm learning Auslan. Would be great if you could post up the signs/ concepts you used in description. BTW your interpretation of the song was AMAZING!!! You are truly talented. Are u Hearing/ HOH or Deaf ?
