  • Why is it so short!!!????

  • Great Dirk: just need a piano bar to go withit

  • Fabulous, Dirk. Nice format with the chords, too. I'm always looking for any backing tracks along these lines

  • This is really nice thanks. What I am really looking for is a track that is about 10 mins long in the key of Bb. Key of F is good as well but they need to be about 150bpm. Are you able to help? Many thanks.

  • great, nice and clear, thanks.

  • Great!!!! and thank you for this backing track - it will be very helpful

  • This is great! I put it into my loop station. Limehouse Blues (Real Book, Vol. 6) would be a nice addition. It's a moderate tempo jazz swing, with a funky blues feel.

  • thankyou , this is a great tool for experimenting over , I would like Desafinado to be made available , cheers!

  • yes longer would be good and also you could do the chicken (pastorius)

  • erg handig!! misschien ietsje langer.

Mijn suggesties. Just Friends, There will never be another you, Yardbird Suite,

Blues in Bb, Rhythm in Bb, There is no greater love, Misty, All Blues, Cherokee, How high the moon, Old devil moon, Look for the silver lining.

  • I think you should make the time duration longer, when I make tracks recording myself playing the changes,I play for at least 5 minutes so you can try lots of soloing ideas before going back to the beginning. If not you can't really get going on the solo. Thanks, nice iedea!

  • this is fantastic for practice sessions ..........how about a bossa ( the shadow of your smile ) please Dirk JE bent de beste die er is dank u wel

  • Is it me or is there some off-key bits in here? Also, I'd like to be able to hear the guitar a LOT better so you can clearly here what it is you're doing.

  • but i want to ask you guys what is the best scale to use it here i'm new in Jazz and i need your help and i like it alot thanks

  • Like it! How about Have You Met Miss Jones?

  • A nice standard to start on is Satin Doll. I agree with the suggestion of Beautiful love which was the first song I ever imporvised over. Foggy Day, All the THINGS You are, Autumn Leaves, Baubles Bangles and Beads, Bernie's Tune, Bluesette, Gee Baby Aint I good to You, Have you met Miss Jones, Here's that rainy day, How High the Moon, I'll remember APril, My funny valentine,Night and day, On green dolphin street

  • THis is great. Thanks!

  • Good track. I'd like to see (1) other tempos (faster), and (2) maybe a longer duration. If this was an mp3 I could just get Media Player to loop it, but as far as I know YouTube videos don't replay themselves without manual intervention.

  • @jwright123456789 Just change youtube into youtuberepeat in the address bar! ;)

  • @hansvanluttikhuizen this is a backing track mate for improvisation ahem!!!

  • @hansvanluttikhuizen Dude, that is awesome!! Thanks

  • @hansvanluttikhuizen Wow very smart!

  • OUTSTANDING!!! Great Idea!!!

  • Why not put songs like Just friends or Out of nowhere in? They have changes in chords that are not difficult but ads a bit more flavor.

  • This was great. The moving graphic with the chords changing color is terrific as a backing track for practice, but it's also really useful as ear training in terms of hearing the relationship between the chords with the base articulated against the changes. Thanks, Dirk. This isa really helpful.

  • Terrific teaching video!!! Thanks Dirk! Like this better~!

  • a good idea would be to make a "beautiful love" play-along. I can't understand how aebersold doesn't have one...

  • Love the karaoke chords!!!

  • thanks for the track i`m uses this one so much!!! thanks for help alvaro obadia
