This is really nice thanks. What I am really looking for is a track that is about 10 mins long in the key of Bb. Key of F is good as well but they need to be about 150bpm. Are you able to help? Many thanks.
This is great! I put it into my loop station. Limehouse Blues (Real Book, Vol. 6) would be a nice addition. It's a moderate tempo jazz swing, with a funky blues feel.
I think you should make the time duration longer, when I make tracks recording myself playing the changes,I play for at least 5 minutes so you can try lots of soloing ideas before going back to the beginning. If not you can't really get going on the solo. Thanks, nice iedea!
Is it me or is there some off-key bits in here? Also, I'd like to be able to hear the guitar a LOT better so you can clearly here what it is you're doing.
A nice standard to start on is Satin Doll. I agree with the suggestion of Beautiful love which was the first song I ever imporvised over. Foggy Day, All the THINGS You are, Autumn Leaves, Baubles Bangles and Beads, Bernie's Tune, Bluesette, Gee Baby Aint I good to You, Have you met Miss Jones, Here's that rainy day, How High the Moon, I'll remember APril, My funny valentine,Night and day, On green dolphin street
Good track. I'd like to see (1) other tempos (faster), and (2) maybe a longer duration. If this was an mp3 I could just get Media Player to loop it, but as far as I know YouTube videos don't replay themselves without manual intervention.
This was great. The moving graphic with the chords changing color is terrific as a backing track for practice, but it's also really useful as ear training in terms of hearing the relationship between the chords with the base articulated against the changes. Thanks, Dirk. This isa really helpful.
Why is it so short!!!????

Why not put songs like Just friends or Out of nowhere in? They have changes in chords that are not difficult but ads a bit more flavor.
