They've already announce SGRA(Same gender romance arcs) In mass effect 3 for both men and female players. They also announced there will be only 1-2 new companion characters. Speculation is that one guy in the Trailer with the sniper rifle. What about curiosity-- What? He's never said anything against liking men. There's a strong possibility he's bi. They've already given their gay fans a lot of accommodation, and that in itself is a sign of respect. I got the mod for fun but I'm not sure it's working, or I did something wrong. I've gotten pretty far in the game and gotten close to Alistair, but he just seems to be straight. About how far in the game did it take you to turn him?
I was under the impression that Allistir was strictly strait! I started playing the game with the intent on getting my Male character romantically involved with him and though I had him at 100% approval nothing. so I looked online and all I could find was "He's strait. get over it." So I got Zev in my party and pursued him instead. I guess I shall have to replay a male again.... And here I was about to make a female just to see Alistair's romance scene. note to self just have to get him jealous!

@CrazyPandaGamer Alistair can not be romanced by any male on the console versions (360 and PS3) of this game whatsoever. A PC modification was used for these videos. If your experience was different then I can only guess it was another form of modification or your player was a female. I get a relatable question all the time and the answer is still the same.
@zet7220 Because usually you need to do their Origin Mission to actually get very close to them. Like Leliana, you MUST defeat her old mentor, in order to make love, as with Morrigan and Flemeth *Slight Spoiler* for Alistair you don't really need to do it, you just get it quicker.

@StokieStallion If you want to sacrifice yourself, I hear you're not supposed to take Alistair with you. I don't know for myself, however, I've never beaten the game . . I don't play much. You know how you have to choose a party to come with you to fight the dragon? DON'T take Alistair with you. Simple as that. That way, he CAN'T sacrifice you, y'know?

I started playing the game with the intent on getting my Male character romantically involved with him and though I had him at 100% approval nothing. so I looked online and all I could find was "He's strait. get over it." So I got Zev in my party and pursued him instead. I guess I shall have to replay a male again.... And here I was about to make a female just to see Alistair's romance scene. note to self just have to get him jealous!

@CrazyPandaGamer Alistair can not be romanced by any male on the console versions (360 and PS3) of this game whatsoever. A PC modification was used for these videos. If your experience was different then I can only guess it was another form of modification or your player was a female. I get a relatable question all the time and the answer is still the same.

@zet7220 Because usually you need to do their Origin Mission to actually get very close to them. Like Leliana, you MUST defeat her old mentor, in order to make love, as with Morrigan and Flemeth *Slight Spoiler* for Alistair you don't really need to do it, you just get it quicker.

@zet7220 You can have a romance with anyone, as long as you do their Personal Quest ex. Leliana with her old mentor from Orlai (sometimes)

1st playthrough when i goes to sacrifice myself for the achievement, he stopped me and sacrificed himself was like awwww :(

@StokieStallion If you want to sacrifice yourself, I hear you're not supposed to take Alistair with you. I don't know for myself, however, I've never beaten the game . . I don't play much. You know how you have to choose a party to come with you to fight the dragon? DON'T take Alistair with you. Simple as that. That way, he CAN'T sacrifice you, y'know?

@StokieStallion Hmm. How do you get the Loghain sacrifice? Just have him with you when you kill the Dragon, with high approval? I'm still gonna try and get the Self-Sacrifice first, of course . . Far more bad-ass and heroic.

@JCSmitherz Yeah killing the archdemon myself, felt the perfect ending for me, especially the end texts when they talk about how they all moved on, especially Sten.
But to get loghain you dont need high approval, i think i just told him basically he fucked the country up, now for once in his pathetic life he can do something good. which tbh his also a nice story ending.
but the final final ending i chose was for my char marry alistair and choose morrigan to bed alistair,for the final dlc
