  • [continuation from last post]...Whatever you conclude, Iniesta arguably interfered with the play: "Interfering with an opponent means making a gesture or movement which, in the opinion of the referee, deceives or distracts an opponent"; "the opponent must be reasonably close to the play so that the blocking, deceiving or distracting makes a difference"......if the last defender to touch the ball kicked it the way he did because of Iniesta's nearby presence, then arguably Iniesta interfered.

  • Two problems with the red line you drew are that (1) the freeze frame should be right at the point of release, which isn't the case for your line, and (2) IFAB Decision 1 says that arms are not considered part of the body for offsides. Even if you had a more accurate line, it was too close to call, and the ref assistant has to give the benefit of the doubt to the striker.

  • casillas and stekelenburg was the only two that played fair this match

  • I wished it was offside soo close to offside

  • he was onside when passed to both times. quite obvious

  • holanda campeones de kun fu.

  • Spain scored fairly, but if the referee gave the cards that every player was supossed to get the match could've ended differently.

  • @bigtrolly hahaha yeah indeed van Bommel and De Jong should have been sent off

  • Well...now shut the fuck up netherland bad losers!!

  • it would be offside if it were the holland attackers from webs decision

  • spain dived and cheated his way trough the worldcup the yare NOT worth it they lost from portugal lsot form argentina tied with mexia i mean WTF MAN fuckoff spain ek final is between netherlands and germany

  • @markkdabest1994

If I ask you to give examples of Spain cheating or diving in the German game you'd draw a blank. The Spanish players like Iniesta and Ramos were doing quite a bit of diving in the final game and it didn't pay off. The Dutch players were going to be allowed to kick everyone and that did pay off. Holland should have been done a man after that Jong karate kick. A clear red but a yellow given out, lolz. If you want to see cheating then watch the Holland vs. Uruguay again.

  • @Anodyne1979 when did holland cheat vs uruguay LMAO and spain did pay off they got free kicks how about neijders freekick against the wall AND the keeper howard: hm anything else u want spain? ramos: giving a goalkick would be nice and give heitinga a red card iniesta will dive ok :howard thx for payinbg the 5 million again

  • @markkdabest1994

First of all, I can barely understand your broken English. Second of all, there is a difference between referee errors and cheating. For example, de Jung kicking Alonso in the chest should have been a red. He was cheating by trying to injure a player but the referee made an error by giving him a yellow instead of a red. In a normal game he would have been booted and Holland would be short a man most of the game. I don't hear you complain about that; I wonder why?

  • @Anodyne1979 i agree with you that the jong should have gotten a red card but how about puyol vs robben if robben wouldof fall down it was a red card and a penalty but thank god holland players arent pussys which are kissing the floor if they feel a poke in their legg

  • @markkdabest1994

it was outside the box,or what do you mean whcih szene?but yea yellow or red for puyol

  • @Anodyne1979 also holland vs germany, holland played dirty after brazil were winning and cheated in semi final against uruguay.

  • @markkdabest1994 Still crying? lol

  • @Eithan89 t cuz they won unfairly c webb

  • @markkdabest1994 Yeah? What about De Jong's kick to Xavi Alonso? He did not deserve the red card (he got yellow only) He deserved to go to jail because of that. And you speak about unfairness? don't make me laugh

  • @Eithan89 how about puyol vs robben and he got NOTHING NOT EVEN A WARN and how about ramos and em some1 else idk the name vs elia should be a fucking penalty

  • @markkdabest1994 Dude dont complain! Your team received the greatest award of all: dirtiest play in the whole competition

  • @Eithan89 only in the final cuz spain was diving their way to the worldcup final we cant helpt it the pussys from barca and real are holleywood actors

  • @markkdabest1994 And dutch players are kung fu fighters xD

  • @Eithan89 just de jong holland did not make any bad fouls which were worth a cart and howard fucked up the final by giving almost all players a yellow card just like heitinga both his "fouls" were nothing more then a spanish tard kissing the ground

  • @markkdabest1994 Dude, it's been more than a year so... get over it.

  • @Eithan89 u know im right admit it the spanish divers won unfairly

  • @markkdabest1994 So? the dutch team would've won unfairly as well, so who's guilty? nobody

  • @Eithan89 why would the dutch won un fairly ?? remember the winning goal came from a dive from iniesta and a retarded reff which gave heitinga his second yellow

  • Comment removed

  • @markkdabest1994 feel sorry for u lol, holland won't win any world cup in da future don't worry hehe.

  • @Pitvp2 we will in 2012 ull see

  • @markkdabest1994 awww getting emotional hehehe. win a wc

  • @Pitvp2 just watch in 2012 finale holland germany and why would i get emotional i admit it i was at the night the game was but we lost unfairly the referee was bought or braindead one of those 2 always picking spain for favor

  • @markkdabest1994 awww crying after 2 years :D

  • @Pitvp2 not even 1 year ago,

  • @markkdabest1994 it was inside the box and then cassilas makes a foul which should be a penalty too but because robben wont dive he doesnt let himself fall i real reff should give the card to puyol but no ofcourse webb not

  • españa gano por que fue mejor y punto

  • we are second of the world and im damm proud of that .. you never hear from our small country but we end up doing stuff like this make me proud to live here netherlands !!! gz spain

  • Still iniesta fucked us with his dive against heitinga

  • it is offside the first one

  • @SERVER2010STATE is not offside. Buy yourself a few glasses

  • @SERVER2010STATE

    Yep, marginal but yes

  • i know everyone of holland says that this is offside but its just that they dont want to lose

  • only part of iniesta that was offside was his hand, which according to the rules actually doesnt matter, its only your head, body and legs which can be offside, hands dont matter. either way it was pretty close

  • @Pepsimaximo1 You are talking about the 0:05 pass, but even if he was in an offside at that moment, the referee wouldn't/shouldn't have blown the whistle because Iniesta wasn't involved in play after that pass, as it got blocked by a defender.

  • @iniestaforlife It still affected play, so if he was in an offside position it would still be called offside. You don't have to touch the ball while in an offside position to be called offside (but yes I know that being in an offside position isn't and offense in itself). But either way it wasn't offside lol.

  • @Pepsimaximo1 how would it have affected play? The pass never reached the "Iniesta-zone", he didn't get in the way of a defender or anything like that. The pass was blocked, so that situation was over. Then, the new pass came, and at this moment, he was obviously not in an offside position.

  • @iniestaforlife It would have affected play because he was affecting the positioning of the defender (defender had to mark him). Either way it wasn't offside so does it really matter?

  • @Pepsimaximo1 I don't think think the defender marking him counts as affecting play because if it would, all the people who are in offside position but let the ball roll so that a teammate who isn't in an offside position (at the moment of the pass) can take the ball would be offside. I have seen thousands of examples of this situation where the referee doesn't blow the whistle. It doesn't really matter but I was just giving extra reasons why it is not offside. Also, in this video (see part 2)

  • @Pepsimaximo1 part 2: in this video, the replay is paused too late. I noticed this because at the moment the replay is paused, the ball is already "behind" Torres' hand. It is clearly not at his foot. Iniesta was running from right to left and the defender was kind of standing still so at the moment Torres actually passed the ball, Iniesta was about half a meter to the right of the defender!

P.S.: I love how some people still don't accept it was offside, because they can't take the loss.

  • @iniestaforlife So I assume you mean "wasn't offside" not "was offside"...

And what was with the sudden change of topic? We were referring to the first pass offside ruling, then without drawing any conclusion you skipped ahead to the second one..?

  • @Pepsimaximo1 Huh? No... I have seen a few comments from people from Holland (in other videos) who say the goal was offside. So: they don't accept it was offside...

I didn't change the topic, I was still talking about the first pass... I was talking about the moment they paused the replay on @ 0:05..

  • @iniestaforlife Again you said "was offside" twice...

But okay, if you look at the replay at 0:05 you will see that the ball is actually already in flight when he paused it, so if anything, he paused it too late.

  • @Pepsimaximo1 OMG! Sorry I confused myself there. You're right about the was/wasn't offside thingy ;)

My point is that there is more than 1 reason why it isn't even close to offside. You have seem to accepted that, so let's please stop the discussion lol.

  • @Pepsimaximo1 the ball was 2 inchs of torres foot when the video is paused, so iniesta was not in offside position as pause shows he was running when pass was made.

  • It's not offside, but that's was not the problem. The problem is that seconds before this goal The Netherlands should have had a corner because the freekick by Sneijder was deflected off the Spanish wall -and- then touched by the goalie! Right after the goalkick that was given instead by moron Webb Spain scored.

  • Even if were offside on the first one, the refere cant call it, because he didnt get the ball or had any kind of interferring in the play. I am a refere as well

  • fuck spain

  • Comment removed

  • VANNNNNNNNNN DERRRRRRRRRRRRR VARTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

    WTF

  • And, there was a corner for that, when sneijder hits the wall.

And then the freekick.. Fuck spain

  • Spain cheated in the matches before, the never should've reached the final

  • @osmpapi so so so jealous

  • @osmpapi Oh boohoo. Get over it, this happened a year ago, and besides, what kind of argument is "they cheated before". Feel free to use some actual evidence to support your otherwise fictional opinion.

  • 0:10 Mathijsen shoudln't have been there were 4 other players taking Villa, he should've been covering Iniesta. Van Marwijk shouldn't have taken' out Kuyt who was a great 5th defender, Elia isn't. Iniesta's goal wasn't pretty but it was a World Cup winning one. In 3 years us Dutch-men shell be back.

  • @kakajax I ment Fabregas not Villa.

  • one of the worst finals in history of the worldcup. this year had to be ours, but van bommel and a few others played very rough, ieniesta did nothing but diving and make the goal, and webb ruined the most important match of the year. spain deserved to win and offside or not, it doesn't matter. spain is worldchampion but in 2014 there will be a orange coloured champion.

  • Comment removed

  • His dick is offside. (¬_¬)

  • netherland vs spain no offside but it was a freekick before so not fair

  • Yeah but Netherlands should have gotten a freekick just before that attack, but they didn't. Hate when great matches ends up with the referee being the one giving the win to a team.

  • youre line is not straight

  • Go Germany :D

  • you'd think that at such a precious moment on such a tight call they'd give the defending team the benefit of the doubt... that first call could have been given for sure

  • I'm happy after all it isn't offside because then I was throwing my PC outside..

  • siempre crei que si era fuera de lugar pero ahora veo que no, estuvo apretada la jugada pero no era fuera de lugar =O

  • His head was offside, yeah. and the dutch defender stands angular. So his arm is the part of the body which is next to the baseline. You can discuss. maybie it is off-side or not. It doesn't matter. Spain plays no attractive football, they won all games since quarterfinals only whith 1-0, also this final. I hope Spain discards nest World Cup in the group stage. They deserve it...

  • @TingaSick Cry german, cry... Remember eurocup final and world cup semifinal hahahaha

  • @Eithan89 We'll see about this next tournament.

  • when this was on TV.. i throwed a rock into the screen and fked some bitch.

  • His head is offside, Hernandez was offside when he scored the header against chelsea, because his head was offside. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but that's what happened.

  • Cesc Fabregas amazing pass !

  • watching the clip over and over again wont change the result

just stop arguing and get a life

  • ya offside in 0:04

  • Close but onside

  • No offside at 0:04. It could have been very easily but this one defender was sleeping i guess.

  • Offside Spain are the worst winners of a World Cup.

  • holland should of won robben missed an amazing chance but it was a good save by casillas aswell

  • indeed offside at 0:04

  • @tittenbibs Its not offside at 0:04 because iniesta didn't receive the ball. Learn the rules

  • @Eithan89 he participated in the play. If it was offside, the (dutch) defender would have to defend this pass, wich means that the (spanish) attacker is offside.

however, it seems to be that it wasn't offside at all.. too bad, could have sworn it was offside that night, haha. ;o)

  • @Eithan89 lol I think you should learn the rules.. IF he was in a offside position then it is offside because he participated in the play and you can see that by seeing the defender trying to defend the pass.. it doesn't matter if he didn't receive the ball. Anyway, he's not in a offside position so a deserved goal.

  • @Eithan89 it is fool learn to play the game the ball dosent have to reach the player to be offside

  • No offside, but the ref was fucking shit! i hate Howard Webb he hates arsenal as well.

  • FAIL its obviously onside

  • Well Netherlands had to have a corner kick just before Iniesta's goal

  • @Bledauskis ,and two red cards for De Jong and Van Bommel in the first time.

  • Keep in mind that when the play is paused to show the line the ball has already left Torres' boot.

  • That first one was offside yeah, but the ball never went to iniesta so its not offside. because the second was absolutely not offside

  • damn its not offside =(

    Gratz spain ;D!!

  • all the world cup was boring exept for the final brazil netherlands second half and germany uruguay

  • offside at 0:04

  • offside it is........

  • not offside, but the most mediocre world cup ever. big grats espanoles!!!!!!!

  • It is 100% offside look at the 0:14sec he hasn't got the ball yet and he has passed the offside and then he remains to get the pass at an offside postition.

So it is proof he has passed the Offside ruler.

  • @FerdausUploads

Oh my, someone to learn the rules MAYBE?

  • @FerdausUploads ur stupit

i think u have never heard about the soccer rules. it fully says that the player is offside when the other player passes i, no when he gets the ball you ass hole

  • It is 100% offside look at the 0:14sec he hasn't got the ball yet and he has passed the offside and then he remains to get the pass at an offside postition.

  • @FerdausUploads I think this guy needs to learn the rules of soccer

  • @19Blakey I think this guy needs to know what the games called...

  • @19Blakey Where Van bronckhorst is is offside but he was about 1m offside if you can see...

Oh, no I forgot you need glasses.

  • @FerdausUploads Watch football much? guess not

  • Well, I'm dutch, but this is clearly not offside. When I was watching the world cup final of my own country against Spain and saw Iniesta kicking the ball in the goal in the 116th minute, I hoped that it was offside. But it's not. Unfortunately. We reached the WC in 1974, 1978 and 2010, but we didn't succeed in winning the cup. Nevertheless I think that the Netherlands is as worthy as a World Champion. We aren't bad and we've won 15 out of the 17 matches we've played in 2010. That's my opinion.

  • @MrZeegelaar You do realize that this camera is not filming in a straight line. You can see Iniesta's head crossing over the line. Plus if you his right foot you can even see from this angle that it is standing further than heitinga's foot. So technically this was offside but It's hard to see so I don't blame any of the referees. But the corner before this goal should've been given to holland because Casillas obviously was the last one who touched it. But we will win the next world cup :)

  • @Noisespreads The ball from the first pass is already in the air when the picture is paused.

  • @MrZeegelaar its actualy 16 out of 17 if i recall right , but they still have some of the best players in the world

  • by the way...is all over dont have to argue abt this anymore....if u need more replay holland should play with 9 players..weird holland play like south american team who play tuff and hard.no more total football and beautiful play for them .

i miss holland when they play very beautiful...with gullit or basten when they won european cup...or when i looking johan cruyff with his golden team.and that was unlucky final when german beat them...not this final..they already lost when they play dirty

  • rewind a little more dude How did spain get the ball? holand was attacking and ellia got a CLEAR FOUL outside of the box! was a clear chance for holand to score and the spain player should have get the yellow card and the reff didn't say anything! what spain paid 4 the wc

  • @TherealGiu rewind some more and you can see that van bommel and de jong should have gotten a red card ;)

  • everyone is complaning like: " haha 0 out of 3 haha!" but better 3 times second, and great football, then never second and bad and ugly football :)

  • spain now played 3 games (after the wc)

    1: spain - mexico (1-1) LOL

    2: spain - argentina (1-4) WHAHAHAHHA

3: spain - portugal (0-4) they so gonna lose in 2012 and 2014

  • look at 0:12

  • people need to stop going on about the offside lol i support holland but it wasnt offside, teh thing im complaining about is the fact the iniesta hit a holland player and got yellow carded for it everypne knows its a red cad offence. holland shouldve had a penalty and ramos shouldve been sent off, the spain goal was an obvious foul and corner. but to be fair de jong and van bommel shouldve been sent off but mattieson shouldve neva went off howard webb is awful.,

  • @gardenstatemuzik bro i like nethrelands but they should have sen red for dejon and robben should have killed the game earlier so in a way the game was in nethrelands hands regardless and its even sader since most of them will not make to next world cup and moost likely not even euro 2012,very saddening that their last chance for the veterans went so badly for them and their carrers could have ended so well. kinda reminds me of zidanes last international almost befitting his carreer but sent off

  • @picspc

Lol, you're serious? Next to Van Bronckhorst...this dutch team who played against Spain in the final will be there as well in 2012 en most likely in 2014. Spain better be warned then cause the chance is big that Holland will do the same thing: reaching the final.

  • @agaroud9 but they were at their best now so what i meant was this was their last chance as in 4 years they will no longer be at peak

  • @picspc

Netherlands at their best? They were FAAAAAR from in form. That's why they are awesome. They didn't play the WC at their best and still could reach the finals. We had people like Van Persie who were totally out of form. I'll guarantee they will be at their best in about 2 or 4 years. This same team will be there in the finals. Same goes for Spain with Torres being out of form. Spain could have beaten every country with 3/4-0 if they were in form. It's a miracle that they won the WC

  • @agaroud9 well now holland will not reach that peak again as that was the last chance for most players to reach the top as their current ages were best suited and sadly like i said add 4 years to this team and like i said before their peak will not get any better so thats that and ill leave you alone since goku is ur profile pic

  • @picspc

You' re such an ass. Even if I'm 86 and I have a picture of Mickey Mouse on my profile..does that mean I have less brains than you? Like I said, there is no guarantee that Holland will not reach the finals again. Holland was not at their best in the world cup like so many other teams who where more focussing on the defence than the attack which made most games very boring to watch. I believe that they will come far next year in EURO 2012 and the World Cup in 2014.

  • @agaroud9 fair enough we all have equal opinions and lol who said u have less brains? i like goku

  • @picspc

Well, this came out of your mouth: *and ill leave you alone since goku is ur profile pic*

Means, you didn't want to continue talking to me because I had a picture of Goku on my profile or with other words, you think Im lower than you. That's why I said that it doesn't mean I have less brains than you. But who cares, we have different opinions and that's it.

  • @agaroud9 hahaha, u can take it that way if you weant to but what i said means that since goku is your pic we probibaly have similar interests since i like db too so i dont really wanna argue, but if thats how you take things then fair enough

  • @picspc

Well, if that's what you meant than I apoligize. But tbh you weren't really clearly on that part. By saying that, you sounded more negative than postive.

  • @agaroud9 lol, its all good then?

  • @picspc

Yup, no problem pal...forget about it.

  • Iniesta will win the POY without doubt :9 or Xavi :D

  • @spiritlight9k dude forlan won it

  • it wasn't offside, but still, if this game was fair, iniesta wouldn't have made this goal. if the whole WC was fair, spain wouldn't even be in the finals

  • and holland yes? o please...

  • @XAVI68S we would've came further than you guys did, only goal i doubt is the one against uruguay by sneijder

  • Ok, I know that Holland deserves a World Cup, but don't say that Spain didn't deserve the WC because we have the best goalkeeper and midfield of the world, and remenber that Busquests in the future will be one of the best players.

  • @XAVI68S with the goalkeeper i agree, but midfield. sneijder robben and van der vaart are a few of the best midfielders in the world too. your players are some of the best, not THE best

  • Ok I agree, sneijder it's a high class player and maybe the player of the year.

  • @XAVI68S hehe hope so

  • @EldinSjinzo And if youtube was fair they would already have banned you coz of stupid things you say . how can a human be that stupid !!!!

  • @vegayannick suck my dick fucktard

  • it was offside

  • @cristomnick WRONG torres' cross never got to iniesta, if van der vaart hadn't touched it, it wouldv'e been.

  • @cristomnick did u not watch the video

  • @cristomnick gast , zijde gy nu achterlijk ?

  • @ikke3wie3anders3 nee ik was joking

  • It was offside at 0:04

  • @AaronDohertyVEVO you stupid right? Pass was already given at 0:04 it cant be offside, lurn rules stupid idiot

I just don't understand. Holland should have ended the game with 8 players and all people can talk about is a phantom offside call? It wasn't even close to being offside. Spain deserved to win because they played futbol. Holland saw the Swiss game and figured they could win with the same blueprint. Here is another "cool" fact. The ref in the Swiss game was WEBB!!!! Funny he wasn't helping Spain then huh? People on YouTube have no futbol knowledge I swear

  • @mrrealmadrid69 futbol? Who invented that sport? hahaha futbol learn to spell, then learn how to see with your eyes and understand what there telling you:''Coward Webb was prejudiced and pro spain, because he was gay at the swiss - spain match too''

  • @Godl1keNL HUH??? In Spain its called futbol moron... Truth is I dont really care what the hell YOU call it... Webb is a horrible ref (he is where futbol was invented by the way) and let the game get away from him.... I repeat myself again... Holland should have ended the game with 8 men... the fact that Webb let them get away with that style of play for so long was their only triumph... At the end the Neanderthals got what they deserved....

  • @Godl1keNL

p.s. Not sure what his sexual orientation has to do with it but im glad you let the world know just how close you two are.... Im so happy you found someone special....

  • I think he was in off-side, but the problem was in all the World Cup. Spain HAS TO WIN, that's a fact (for me).

It's the worst Champion ever !!!........ The best team was Germany, but Spain has more money in football nowadays.

  • @waltermuniz no, spain was better than germany hence why all team that played spain (including germany) except for chile played defensivly against them, chile was the only team that tried to go toe to toe with spain.

  • @soulen675

I don't think that but it's ok, you could think different, Germany was the better team and we saw the worst Champion since Brasil in USA 94.

    Money changes everything.

  • @waltermuniz They were not, maybe the most entertaining team, but not the best team seeign as spain outplayed them, yes i know spain only won 1-0 but that's because they were not clinical enough. And also the reason why germany were more impressive was because all teams fear spain(even germany) so they decide to park the buss(once again even germany) meaning they have much much less space than other team, like germany for ex, does meaning its harder far them to play entertaining...

  • @waltermuniz oh and also spain has more money than germany? maybe barca and real madrid, but the rest of the teams in spain have faaar less than their counterpart in the bundesliga(la liga have 2 clubs of the top 20 rich club in the world, who are in 1th and 2nd place and bundesliga have 4, in 4th 13th, 15th and 18th place ), there is a reason why most if not all think that the bundesliga is the best organised league, better organised than la liga, seria, premier league seeing

  • @soulen675

Ok, sorry for the delay in the answer,.............. how much money spent Spain in buying players ? How much money does Germany spent ?

Do you know that Fifa gets money because of that ?, How many TV subscriptions has La Liga in the world ? How many has the Bundasliga ?

Again, this is about money, you cant believe it or not.

Nowadays the ex Champions League is more important than the world cup, why ?, because 4 Champions moves more money than one world cup.
