He had black friends (Harry Villegas and Juan Almeida to name two), defended blacks during the U.S. African American Civil Rights Movement, and even left his family, friends, and renounced his country to fight in the African Congo with and for blacks. The only thing your statement shows is that you can't be bothered with details (wherein the truth lies) and you are emotional and believe the first thing you read. You post internet quotes because you let everyone else think for you.
Face it fellas, America is too powerful, There's nothing that you or I can do anything about it. America has the power to play with the government of any country they want wether it be Cuba, Iraq, or my Philippines, and all we can do is sit here in YouTube and complain.
Ronald Reagan's right-wing Contra Death squads slaughtered 70,000 in El Salvador, 100,000 in Guatemala, and 30,000 in Nicaragua and hundreds in Honduras. Yet teabagging morons worship the diaper wearing war criminal.
As we enter 2010, the world needs a Che Guevara now more than ever.
43 years after his murder ... Che is more relevant and more loved than ever. His example shines throughout the globe as an inspirational beacon of hope. Che lives in the heart of the hungry and the oppressed and he will be avenged.
I wonder if the rumours on the net are true, that it was no accident that Klaus Barbie (not the maiden name of Ken!), was in Bolivia at the time, when this communist dimwit was brought to justice on the behest of the US; allegedly Barbie even called Castro on Cuba and said to the island tyrant after some chat: The revolutionary was dear to thee, I see. Know that he suffered greatly at the hands of his host. Who would've thought one so small could endure so much pain? And he did, Fidel, he did.
@Frogstomp121: Sure, so it was pure coincidence that he was around in Bolivia at that time being in the service of the Americans, hunting down communist insurgents; but then again: The Argentine catamite of that Cuban tyrant was such a communist insurgent; so it may not have been a coincidence at all!
I had a dream where I killed the "bad guys" with my arrow and came back home to my friends as a hero. Then the dream shifted and I was walking with the victim's loved ones. One could hardly restrain himself from killing me right then and there. I could see the hate burning in his eyes. The other guy I met was so disgusted with me I could not stop him to explain my side of the story.
All of this was easily the worst I have ever felt. It is the reality of war that most people seep under the rug

Ha! What a bunch of crap! Che, Fidel, George W. Bush, Putin, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, TV Evangelists, the Pope, Kim Jong Il, Ad executives, Barack Obama, and American Idol. Why do I mention all of these when they have nothing in common? Well they have ONE thing in common. That the masses are to be controlled and manipulated because they can't think for themselves. For the most part they're right. For the rest of us we need to look to our hearts and follow that path. No need for "leaders" then.
Oi! I think the same way as you, mate... but, if you check your words, you are acting as a leader...
Why? because you want to make some sense in the people's mind. You know, as i say, i think that the path is inside of every person, so, if we are capable of see it (i mean, you and i) we NEED to help the others to find their paths...
Finally, some people are leaders. Other ones, the people who need our services...
No is not a joke this is the only way to acheve peace in a country every country in the world has gone throug it. includin yous. if u think you will change things without a gun and popular support then u are just a fucking dreamer ignorant motherfucker and a fucking cowar. MAN UP asshole.
People make "peace" through war every day. There is a war in Iraq and Afghanistan right now, with people dying every day.
This is a dream I had one time. I was in a war and killed the bad guys with my arrow, returning home and to a hero's welcome. Then the dream shifted and I was walking with the victim's friends and family, and could not escape the burning hatred they felt for me. It was the wrost feeling in the world.
EVERY war is like this, and no war is ever justifiable.
You put a bullet in a guy's head thinking you've brought the world that much closer to freedom when in effect you've just taken one step back because you've just widowed someone, oprhaned a child, taken away a friend, etc.

If you're gonna argue, don't get personal and make fun of the other person. It's immature and doesn't help your argument.
One, the trials were not fair and nobody deserves to die with capital punishment under any circumstances.
Also does everything have to be all or nothing with you? Can you admit that Cuba having free health care and education is a good thing while also admitting that there are other things (free speech, elections, etc.) that need to be improved upon?

All the grave sites? Most those who were executed were guilty. Innocents always die in war. Che enslaved people? False "Let me say, at the risk of seeming ridiculous, that the true revolutionary is guided by great feeling of love" HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE
Gusanos get whiny when you remind them that they tucked in the wieners and fled from a few hundred bearded guys with guns to the comfort of American Capitali$m.
Maybe if they had half the Cajones that Che had, they would have tried to start their own revolution and topple Fidel. Hell Fidel at one time was down to 12 men and came out victorious. So whats their problem ??? - grab 82 of those south beach geezers, load up a yacht, and see how far they get.
All you idiots that admire this piece of human filth should visit the graves of all the women and children that he, Castro, Stalin and others executed and enslaved. Try to justify to the millions of dead why you believe in this false religion. WAKE UP! COMMUNISM IS EVIL!
vk2r1 you ignorant moron! What of the trail of death the moloch worshipping politicians, that illegally control all the countries in the West, have left behind? They manipultae, destroy, malign, murder, assasinate, and blow up everybody that does not agree with the moloch demonic doctrines they are bound by.Bush Jr. still has not been brought to justice for blowing up the twin towers and killing thousands, and then blaming it on Bin Ladin who's on the moloch payroll. Think before u speak goof!
Cuban Exile trash love TERRORISTS and CIA killers, like Luis Posada Carriles ("South America's Bin Laden" who blew up Cubana Flight 455 in 1976), Orlando Bosch (his partner in crime), Felix Rodriguez (point man for Oliver North in Iran/Contra, trained central American contra death squads, ordered execution of Che Guevara), Alpha 66, etc all blow up Havana hotel lobbies, strafe beaches etc -- Go to Versailles restaurant in Miami & these old cowardly Gusano Assassins will be there.
Yes, the liberator who helped Fidel come to power and aided in the execution of women and children by the hundreds. And Fidel, who Che so worshiped, was all about sharing the wealth. It's not like he's been living high on the hog while his country was in the shitter or anything.
Does it offend you because it is fact? Please, let us be objective here. Che did these things. That much is fact. We KNOW this. You may like him in spite of it, but don't be so foolish as to say it never happened. Such is the mentality of a holocaust denier.
Millenias from now, when the entire history of humanity is written ...
Che Guevara will be remembered and celebrated as one of the most heroic men to ever walk the earth.
His example radiates like a sun throughout the galaxy, and provides a blue print to any individual who realizes as he did, that we are failing this world and the human family.
CHE ... hero, icon, father, husband, rebel, soldier, writer, intellectual, doctor, politician, dentist, poet, statesman, military theorist, guerrilla, diplomat, general, warrior, Marxist, defender of the poor, inspirational legend, guardian of justice, and current saint in Bolivia.
One thing you fail to realize that Che was cold, but yet sought to purge Cuba of its monopolistic tendencies of Batista's hired torturers and killers plus people who were in this me me government that only helped the U.S to build their stake in people's life's. Che had conclusive evidence and insisted on concrete evidence of heinous crimes before declaring death sentences. Those killed by Batista's men testified in the tribunals usually peasants and the common people came forth as witnesses.
i find it funny how people in the west wear che t shirts and buy his posters promoting the capertilist ideals he despised. no mistake he was a smart man whose intentions where good but in his eyes the end justified the means, people like che because of his photo and the fashion not many realise the truth about him he was basically a hitler with left wing ideals.
One wonders ~ did he win or did he loose? Cuba compared to its neighbors is doing outstanding. Take Haiti ..as i write this many of them are eating dirt to survive. Its that they really aren't independent and General Batista was a CIA plant.
@XxxNuMbxxX0301 That you read the biography of Che, is a communist propaganda, Che was a murderer motherfucker racist and homophobic, so beware ,.... well you killed it, and to die 100 times
MIAMI EXILE TERRORISTS and CIA backed killers, the likes of Luis Posada Carriles ("South America's Bin Laden" who blew up Cubana Flight 455 in 1976), Orlando Bosch (his partner in crime), Felix Rodriguez (point man for Oliver North in Iran/Contra, trained central American death squads, ordered execution of Che Guevara), Alpha 66, Brigade 2506, etc - Go to Versailles restaurant in Miami where these assassins will be sitting at the best table.
Sartre call the Che the most complete human being of their time!!!Their time is the worst of time + serial killers and phedophiles also...the most comnplete idiot statement and yet it come from the Sartre himself...How can he be wrong right his word are like gospel for the middle class! But for the poor uneducated that i am they mean nothing jonhy...Smith&Weston those are my poets.
Listen don't ask me ask Sartre...The most complete human being!!! So what do you think yourself? Do we give Che only the best quality but not the worst of man? The most complete remember! If your going to use a quote for propaganda make sure it's not open to interpretation...Some of us don't care about any icon,Che or St-Mary,Well you didn't call me a red-neck ,One guy call me like this because i don't agree with Che and Castro, ololol,Nobody is untouchable,They kill Gandhi also but not Castro?,
First of all its Sartre not Sarten, second he called Che the most "complete human being" of their time. What you are claiming is purely fabricated, and Sartre was much better with words. Please dont ever do that again, or tell whatever source you got that from that they are an idiot.
Fucking bullshit... Why do you pick on dead people capitalist asshole? Go edit Conservapedia or molest children in an AFA meeting, or fuck John McCain up the ass, but leave Che alone and don't put words into Sarten's mouth!
how sad was it that the men who swore by his phlosophy and his cause turned out to be tyrants.Viva la commandante Che....you may have died but your dream is still alive in noble hearts
After Castro rose to power, Che realized that Castro was not a true marxist as he was, and he attempted to organize another revolt, however remained unsuccessful from the low morale of the Cubans. Che did liberate many cubans and many in poverty, however not as many as he killed.
Next time you say "This guy was a looser! I got no idea why he is so famous!" do some research on the subject before addressing it.
The people who think he is a hero is just as ignorant as you are, who refuses to believe that he did have heroic aspects. In my opinion, he was he was a hero, and a villain.
Che Guevara's soul however, is what lead him to villainy.
Addressed to the comment right before mine, you fail to mention the fact that his main point of success was liberating cuba ALONG with Castro. At the time castro was also a revolutionary and he did not "kiss his ass" but he supported the same cause as Castro.

This guy was a looser! I got no idea why he is so famous! he didn't accomplish anything at all in life. He didn't do anything but kiss Castros' ass and take advantage of the situation in Cuba! then he died like a dog. Ignorants think he was a hero, what they don't know that he was a murderer in Cuba. killing people for an absurd ideal!....La mayoria de los seguidore de este, nisiquiera saben la historia de el, solo siguen una imagen popular e historietas de caminos como si fuera un heroe!
= Jon Lee Anderson, author of the 800 + page 'Che Guevara: A Revolutionary life', who spent 5 years researching the man:
"I have yet to find a single credible source pointing to a case where Che executed an innocent. Those persons executed by Guevara or on his orders were condemned for the usual crimes punishable by death at times of war or in its aftermath: desertion, treason or crimes such as rape, torture or murder."
See what Cuba is like if you have a revolutionary attitude like Che. Any revolutionary attitude really, whether you want freedom or just a new dictator
Ernesto "Che" Guevara dreamed of creating the "New Man" at any cost. During the Cuban missile crisis, he favored a nuclear war because he believed that a better world could be built from the ashes, regardless of the cost in millions of lives. By adhering to his anti-American feelings and pro-Soviet stance, he achieved a role in history that stands for one failure after another, both in Cuba, as well as in all the other countries where he went to promote and disseminate Castros Revolution.
k first of all cuba wouldnt listen to anything but violence at the time
second communisum is a very sound system but absolute power corrupts absolutely
and dont try to get high and mighty about american citizens because matter of fact most are racist to some degree
and of course dont dis che, he's done what most americans wouldnt dream of, and is one of the most respectable people in all of hisory, i mean look what he did when he wasnt fighting
The average american doesn't resort to murder to get what he wants, isn't racist, and doesn't lead revolutions to bring a shitty system of government that only causes more hunger, death and oppression.. Therefor the average american is better than Che. Are any of you from Cuba? my dad lived there for 27 years and hated Castro with the core of his being. On a side note, Castro betrayed Che because they're both pieces of shit.
Go to your local library or bookstore, pick up a book for the first time in your life and do some research into these claims of yours and prove to me that your right (fat chance) because Che and Castro over through a corrupt government, ie Batista, and replaced it with an exemplary example of large scale communism. For communism is the greatest idea (and in Cuba case, practice) that has ever graced this Earth, so how is sharing and being kind to one another beneath the captalism of America?
Oh you think communism is good? Ok nevermind, I understand now why you admire che and that makes total sense. Theres no sense in arguing now. Just don't call him a freedom fighter, please. Even those of you who think communism makes sense must admit it is not freedom. Not even close.
I've read about political prisoners in Cuba who were thrown in for voicing anti-castro sentiments. Cuba is not a pretty situation, I don't know why you people think its heaven on earth there.
I do intend to "Check out" this book? Dvd? please if it was written by someone under the influence of any government then tell me now, becauase there are a lot of countries who do not like communism for the only reason being that those same countries are run by communists. I sudgest that you check out George Orwel's novel "Animal Farm" and how a country ruled by greedy pigs is at heart a capatalist nation. Thank you all for this feedback but I do not agree with most of it!
hey Anatologia de un mito is a documentary with most of Che's comrades talking about Che from the moment he met Fidel in Mexico to the moment he got captured... so obviously is not run by this mythological Capitalist greedy person...Just like in Capitalism, there is also greed in communism, ask yourself, why everyone except for Fidel's family and the people close to him in power live under very poor conditions? just check out the film even if you don't agree with it, hear the other side from it.
Yeah I will watch it but a large part of Cuba's finacial trouble (weather or not Castro was corrupt [and I see no evidence to sudgest this]) is dew to America imposing all sorts of restrictions on them!
I must appologise for my blatant disregard for the English language, in my first post I wrote "an exemplary example" this is a truism, secondly I typed "Che and Castro over through" this was supposed to be "over threw". Also it was not just the formentioned but a teem effort by all the Cuban revolutionaries!
don't worry bout it man we know what you mean...anyways, I talked to many Cuban teachers I had that experienced Castro... and its not favorable at all; to cut it short, many people live in the same condition except for Castro's family and high members of his regime.
Che murdered hundreds of people without the order of Castro, i.e. Che was so courageous, Che backed down from a duel and then shot the person as soon as he turned his back. He was also racist toward indigenous people. He joined Castro but was his personal asskisser from the start, and then he went to africa where he got his ass kicked, and finally Bolivia where they got rid of that megalomaniac.
He created a people's Revolution in the name's sake of Cuba, he aswell was a medical student whom traveled throughout Latin America; he was transformed by the endemic poverty he witnessed. His experiences and observations during these trips led him to conclude that the region's ingrained economic inequalities were an intrinsic result of monopoly capitalism, neocolonialism, and imperialism, with the only remedy being world revolution. For this, he joined Fidel in the 26th of July movement.
Again, I'm going to ask you what did he do other than being sympathetic for what indigenous people were going through. Sure, he joined Castro, ok but what did he exactly do???
They just like Christ Fanataics.. magical.. legend.. Che Guevara!!
He wrote his own legacy.. not based on truth.. rather than how he wanted to be remembered.. so that idiots on YOUtube.. can praise him without reading history.
Next time, keep your ignorant remarks or retaliations to yourself kid; you're playing with the adults when you decide to ubiquitize to certain topics.
Clearly many here know little of Che. In fact nearly every president that the Cuban revolution has outlasted, is responsible for more unjust deaths than Castro, Che and the Cuban regime.
Che is the fire that lights the candle of liberty.

GreatGrumbledook 2 years ago
Klaus Barbie has nothing to do with Che.
Frogstomp121 1 year ago

No need for "leaders" then.
daGr8Satan 2 years ago
Greetings, mate...

Your language reveals who yo are.
To make peace with war is like pretending that a peaceful and psicological healthy man can be the resulg from a child mistreated. Is that logical?
Mandkind is sick beacause there are opressors and slaves or revels (and maybe you're in this category).
Of course I know that most of the countries have reached freedom throuhg war. But is not the only way. I recomend you to read Gandhi's life.
luisnatera 2 years ago
People make "peace" through war every day. There is a war in Iraq and Afghanistan right now, with people dying every day.
This is a dream I had one time. I was in a war and killed the bad guys with my arrow, returning home and to a hero's welcome. Then the dream shifted and I was walking with the victim's friends and family, and could not escape the burning hatred they felt for me. It was the wrost feeling in the world.

One thing you fail to realize that Che was cold, but yet sought to purge Cuba of its monopolistic tendencies of Batista's hired torturers and killers plus people who were in this me me government that only helped the U.S to build their stake in people's life's. Che had conclusive evidence and insisted on concrete evidence of heinous crimes before declaring death sentences. Those killed by Batista's men testified in the tribunals usually peasants and the common people came forth as witnesses.

I do intend to "Check out" this book? Thank you all for this feedback but I do not agree with most of it!
thecrypticfool 3 years ago
hey Anatologia de un mito is a documentary with most of Che's comrades talking about Che from the moment he met Fidel in Mexico to the moment he got captured... so obviously is not run by this mythological Capitalist greedy person...Just like in Capitalism, there is also greed in communism, ask yourself, why everyone except for Fidel's family and the people close to him in power live under very poor conditions? just check out the film even if you don't agree with it, hear the other side from it.
mana2432 3 years ago

Che murdered hundreds of people without the order of Castro, i.e. Che was so courageous, Che backed down from a duel and then shot the person as soon as he turned his back. He was also racist toward indigenous people.
