@Litshttam We had a song in Australia too. Did the British one go something like this? (Sung with torch held under chin) Mystical Warriors in the night Suuuuupernaturals! Good and evil Ghostlings fight Suuuuupernaturals! Lionheart the valiant Knight Becomes a Lion in ghostly light Spooky Skull is a horrible sight! Suuupernaturals! Is it a ghost? Is it a man? Ahh ha ha ha it a hologram! Suuuuupernaturals! If anyone has the Australian version post!
Yeah i remember that song too. It always stuck in my mind cos it was very sinister. Yes it went suuuuupernatural...boom boom...boom boom....suuuuuupernatural..... lol. I used to have lionheart and am now searching ebay for it.
@Zac6230 yeah it was great until you saw the rich kid down the block with a fucking voltron or a fortress maximus then you look at you're shit and you say to yourself... fuck you, santa!
These toys were the best! they incorporated two things I really loved! stuff that glowed in the dark and holograms! all I have left is one of the action figures and some of the glow in the dark weapons including that sword! I would buy some more if I ever found them.
@victordls Actually Hasbro did visionaries and Tonka did these although I admit there are some striking similarities I actually had both as a child and loved them greatly.
I used to have these when I was a kid. I loved that hologram stuff. There was another one I used to love called Visionaries. They had that hologram stuff too. You pulled this commercial straight from the archives. Good job and thanks for posting it.
I had the main badguy, the bad guy vehicle (A wrecker with a spike ball on a chain and a grave yard in the grill) and the Tomb of doom. I loved these toys.
HOLY CRAP DUDE! Thanks for putting this up...I remembered having a few of these when I was in Kindergarten but I had NO idea what they were called. Thanks a million!
I had a couple of these. Like Visionaries, they were pretty unremarkable toys as far as the hologram was concerned and your imagination did most of the work. Not a bad thing, especially in this unimaginative day and age.
was there a Super Naturals tv series?
ijasop 4 months ago
@ijasop No. However, there was a Visionaries animated series.

apart from the hologram feature, these are actually quite crappy figures.

I recall the British commercials for Super Naturals having a rather sinister soundtrack.
