This version of the song is fucked up. It has the same chorus + solo 3 times looped before the song continues on. The song is only 4:12 long. As much as I adore this song, this video upload might be doing the band more bad than good... Here's the song in proper quality and length (without a part of the song looping 3 times!) youtube.com/watch?v=hV-Fmn7d_-Yd
Hey Pete, big fan here from New Zealand! Hope everything is cool with you man. Any chance you could post a better quality version of this? My 'Hear' cassette tape has long since perished from overplaying and I'd love to hear this in it's FANTASTIC orginal quality and awesomeness.
Ya if you thought trixter were too poppy or soft, chances are you never saw them live or heard the 2nd record. "Hear" was loaded w/ face-ripping hard rock and if people wanna still rip on them 20 years later? Dude , it's just music. Listen or don't listen. Obviously they were havin fun so who's the loser there?
Gald to see these guys back, heard you on Eddie Trunk's show last week. Goodtimes
first song i heard from trixter i fell in love within 2 seconds of the song :D ! 80's and 90's metal for the win. too bad they didn't get the credit for their music due to bands like nirvana which suck .
If you don't think these guys have the goods, go to a show and check them out. They are on tour this summer. They hail from New Jersey originally, Paramus area. My opinion...Steve Brown is hands down one the best hard rock guitarists anywhere and his playing is a revelation to anyone with an open mind. Pete Loran is the 'man" on vocals. PJ, an awesome bass player. Just a great band all around and good bunch of guys if you get to meet them. Enough said.
someone post a decent quality version of this tune that doesnt skip at the end . . enjoying tht pleasant little number they got jivin in the smoke machines.
yeah I remember when they first came out...awesome music, but now I do really feel old..lol cause I started listening to them when I was like 12yrs. old...
found this by accident ..shit hot song...now got to chek out some more

were these guys from seattle? for an 80s band they look very grunge.
mrlee192 3 years ago
this song's from 1992. Actually, everything Trixter released was in the early 90's(1990-1993).

was this on their debut album "Trixter" or "hear"?
RageAgainstIraq 3 years ago
it was on the hear album, a great album in fact .
julien959 3 years ago
OH TOTALLY, I THINK HEAR WAS BETTER IT WAS MUCH MORE THRASHIER AND HEAVIER THAN THEUIR DEBUT which was pop metal-orientated.
Sort of like Skid Row. "Skid Row" was pop-metal and "Slave to the grind" was thrashy, heavier than the debut, and rocking!
Ho trixter, fater pussycat, and Skid Row, best glam bands!

I mean "Go" rather than "Ho" on that last line. i was typing fast
