If you read the manga they give a sad after story look on the ending thats years into the future, where Asmaria become an old lady and dies from old age. And where they unfreeze the jewel lady three days after Asmaria dies. The manga ending is told by Asmaria. since chrono seems to have died in the manga you don't know if actually meet, but it's implied that they did on the last page.

OKAY...This is somethin i must know.... is it Chrno Crusade or Chrono Crusade!? everyone i know sayds it and spells it in a different way and these 2 are the most common! anyways...these are one of those anime where i say the manga is better but i still loved this series ;D very nice but i didnt like the kiss scene when Chrno was asleep D:< that just doesnt count man
