  • Gud to c ya wearing ppe, I wouldent dream of climbing n cutting with out it on, good safe practise at work hay!! How did u pass ya courses man Jesus !

  • this guy guy is g'ed up from the feet up yo

  • @CactusWolf WHAT A RACIST PRICK

  • The client shouldn't hire someone like this. They get 2-3 quotes, sometimes even 4 and they go for someone like this fucktard! This is what's wrong with the industry in Australia. A good qualified Arborist gets under cut by a joker like this. So The client can save a few dollars. I hope there was extensive damage.

  • get that spic out of the tree this is a shame on you for hiring this spic takin work from us real tree men honestly id rather see a fly by night ladder boy doin this then these wet backs

  • his name is bingo an his work is only bongo

  • the safety stuff you call crap slows you down only if you are a monkey whitch a chainsaw in the tree .

you can be safety and fast .

thespokenfont you right by the way

  • Great job fuggin idiot .. No PPE and probably no insurance . its Idiots like this that make it bad for the rest of us. The little $80 - $100 dollars your paying that climber a day sure won't help his uninsured ass when he's in the hospital . It will be our fuggin tax dollars that will.

  • If this guy were working for my company in Canada, he would be fired on the spot. One handing a chainsaw, no p.p.e., improper cuts, no double tie-in while cutting...it is people like this that make people think arborists are all no-nothing hacks. Shame.

  • YEAH SHIRRILL TREE!!!!!!!!! i think this guy can deffinatly learn something just from the littlle pictures they have in there catelogs! lol

  • santa dont visit the funreal home little buddy

  • Why does he not have a Hardhat, Face sheld, safety goggles, chainsaw pants, and you should always use two hands on chainsaw incase of kickback...

  • @gallanator I just hired them, I don't know, prob lazy.

  • I like this guy's hardhat.

  • you can throw away your rope you are standing on it with your spurs.....

  • nice hard hat matel ol treescape yea

  • @superpringles I only hired them, they did a good job and the cutters are from Guatamalla. I understand protective clothing I am a retired Firemen. Thank you for watching .

    M

  • You need to park that goofy ass looking sideways baseball cap and wear a helmet and eye and hearing protection when using tree cutting tools.

  • Is the sideways hat OSHA approved? Or do you only have to worry about OSHA if you are a legal resident?

  • ok.. no ppe.. no break away lanyard.. one cut.. priceless! anyone can walk in and get insurance but not everyone thinks about saftey till its to late. Sherrill tree baby.. look it up. Wear a bucket on your head and some ansi standerd glasses and maybe go to a couple isa classes.... Learn your trade! If that limb would have peeled or caught that saw... where would you have gone? 6 feet under maybe.

  • @wateroaktree This is my neighbor. He cut it down for 300.00 He is not much into safety, pretty obvious. I am a retired Firemen and understand the principals.

    Thank you

    Mike

  • @wateroaktree ok..one guy..wateroaktree(lol)..no life..patrolling youtube for tree vids to post shitty comments on..priceless.

  • @wateroaktree lol yeah, wearing a bucket on your head really helps, check out my vid called "the dumbest thing I have ever done", the bucket saved me.

  • @wateroaktree thats what i was thinking no ear defenders no chainsaw boots and chainsaw trousers and no chain saw gloves and no lid and the funny thing is iam 16 and just started my course of doing arb for 4 months and i all ready more sensible then he his lol

  • @boxcurtis you dont need all that crap it just slows you down if you want to make money in this industry you gotta be fast and safe. something you cant just learn in a book they really dont have all the answers

  • @wateroaktree In the states are u ment 2 use the break away lanyards? my lanyard for my big saws are just a length of climbing line. on the smaller rear handle saws and on my tophandle climbing saws i use a bungee lanyard.

  • looks fun

  • the only tree i dont wear a helmet in is when im removing a Small Cocas palm when i mean small i mean 10 to 15 metres tall

  • OREGONTREECLIMBER i wear a Petzl climbing helmet with ear muffs on it. on the ground i wear a Husky pro forest helmet. whats the law like in the states regarding chainsaw pants or chaps? here in Australia you only need to wear them on the ground. i still climb in normal work pants. and in summer board shorts. but on the ground i wear clogger chainsaw pants

  • @beazo007 beazo, thank you for your comment.

  • Dood needs to get rid of the goofy cocked baseball cap and wear the proper helmet and ear protectors

  • i saw your coment beazo007 i know you havent had anyting happen to you yet, (but)! when you are thinking like that, your number is coming up, i wear a hard hat with a chin strap becase it saved my life, lowered out a top and got rocked pretty hard, had a slight concusion even with a hard hat. you never now when your day will come. thinking like it never will is just stupid!

  • @OREGONTREECLIMBER

Iam the author of the vid. You are right. Safety first. Man this video is gettin alot of attention. Im waiting for it to get political. lol

    Mike

  • @blinko656 Excellent climber no doubt climbing with no fear looks like, yea I would use ppe if i were you. I climb alot like that, they dont call me lightfeather for nuttin!!!

  • What kind of cut was that? No notch. Second, what's up with letting the saw drop "hard" on his lanyard? All I can say is "you never see Reg Coates in a tree without PPE". Reg saw a few pics of me without a helmet and he gave me a little jab in the side about it. I'll never be on camera without it again. If you can't be a professional, at least sook like one.

  • Sir, I simply had this crew come in and take down the tree for me. Im a retired FF and understand the importance of PPE. I mentioned it to them and they said they didn't need it. I asked for a copy of their insurance and Workers Comp and they faxed it to me. They cut the tree down for 350.00.

  • Nothing personal meant towards the homeowner by my comment. I was just stiring the pot a little. You can't beat a "good, cheap" job if nothing bad happened and you were satisfied..

  • Hay no problem I understand, youtube is good for that sort of thing. I do it. Have a good Christmas..

  • No need for a notch...that would have wasted time...hes just blowin out chuncks, maybe just touch the backside a bit so he wouldnt get that peel(hold)haha

  • great job well done. really safe climber.

  • im a climber and Arborist and i only wear a hard hat sometimes while climbing. ive never had n injury and ive been climbing since i was 16 and im now 18 and nothing has ever happened 2 me. but these day ill start 2 wear my hardaht alot more

  • I climbed for 25yrs and still do,I love my hard hat with face screen and ear muffs it has come in handy and few times. be safe!

  • Your absouletly right about the safety gear. This was my neighbors company who cut the tree. Im a retired Firemen and well versed in safety issues. I should have thought twice when I saw this . No insurance ,Im sure, However, it's not good to wish harm or pain on a guy making a living. Come on. Just my thoughts..

  • he needs a helmet, safety trousers boots, eye and ear protection. ye he might do it for years but someone one day will hurt or kill themselves! no doubt about that! i climb every day and wouldnt go up a tree without it! and anyone who thinks there the man for not using the gear has no idea and good luck 2 em, hope they hurt themselves then well have one less tree dodgey tree surgeon pratt to worry about!

  • yall are retards, i just had a tree cutting service come out and cut a tree in my yard and they didnt wear hard hats, they actually wore a baseball hat

  • Yeah...thats all fine an dandy until a 8x10dead limb shakes out from the top and cracks u in the head...then drags across ur body rippin ya open w/gapping wounds haha;-(

  • I'm a climber and an arborist. The problem is the employer. These Mexican guys work hard and fast. They need to be trained to be safe as well. Like everyone else does. They are not a tool for making money. The tool is the business owner. If he was a reputable business owner, these guys would be wearing hard hats and go through an implemented safety program. When one of these guys gets waxed he'll be in a world of hurt with Cal. Osha.

  • I agree...

  • he seems good if you ask me.

who needs a hard hat? their for text book fagits that probally wear flourscent bibs too hahaa... dont hate on the spanish dudes, theiir animals!

  • nice stupid baseball hat. a lot of good it will do! get some PPE you dumb ass!

  • stupied beans

  • You're a dick

  • Im not sure. These are my neighbors and they cut the ugly cottonwood tree down for me. They do not wear any eye protection or safety stuff. They were fast and cheap. This was done in Sacramento Ca in the summer. Seems like a dangerous way to make a living. Although I made it through the 28 years in the fire service.

  • Why two cuts?
