@jameslowe2 there was no 'palestinian area'. there was the 'palestinian mandate' which had originaly been designated by the league of nations for a jewish homeland, they turned 85% of it into jordan and then an agrement was made, backed by the united nations to divide the rest roughly in two. the mainlt arab areas would remain in an arab state. if you want to dig up individual cases of violence in the area, you won't do anyone a favor and you will miss the big picture.
