@bieberfever2256 you go into the castels librarie and on the lower level move youre mouse over the first book case the when you find thearea click it and a chamber in the floor u go in and you see moldy cheese u pick it up (pull the lever by the cadge to open up the bars so you can get in through to the robot by merlons study) and then you go to the othger room with the mouse and go nere the bed and set down the cheese and then you catch the mouse and u use him to catch the owl hope it helped :)

Firstly, when you play on the lute in Mythology Island, it makes sound, and secondly, when you ring the bell in Steamworks Island to wake up the robot thing, Sprocket. But you're still right, Poptropica would be so much better with more FX.
