  • how much hp can reach a stock motor s2000?

  • i have 450rwhp stock motor with stock head gasket on my gt3076r on my 01 s2000

only thing i changed was head bolts , 3mm is old school and youll be changing them every oil change alum head and block with a steal head gasket causes warp

but thumbs up on your hp :)

  • Is it safe to be running that much power with a stock block and just the cosmetic gasket and head studs?

  • @chelseafan4life09 Very safe. Depends on the tuner and how thick of a gasket you run. Stock block can handle 500+whp.

  • @foxer10

    Swag thats pretty Impressive.

  • can someone plz explain to me what with a tune means like a gt30r with a tune dose it mean to like make it custom or something and if it dose whats the best way to tune it plz answer thank you

  • I just got an AP1 S2, and I am looking into a similar setup. I was looking at the FR GT3071R, AEM EMS brains, and a Walbro pump. Only thing I am having trouble with is injector sizing. What size injectors are you running? I was considering 550's but hear they will top out.

  • LMAO wat!! 428whp on 15 psi, thats crazy efficient

  • holy fuck. i thought that shit was coming off the rollers. lol. tighten that thing down maybe you'd get better numbers?

  • A GT3037R is not Exactly the same as a GT3076R. Wheel exducer is different by .2mm. In turbo world, that is a lot.

  • how much does this kit cost

  • If the car had a different cam, which was made to make power down lower, they could make more tq and the same power, but would lose 2k RPM of power band.

Notice how the power comes on late, and continues to climb, this is by design, its not a flaw.

  • high revving engines are usually not torquey...the turbo managed to get the torque up.

  • a small car like that doesn't really need much TQ to move.

  • tq looked like it was in the 3's..... not bad for a honda most never see that much tq

  • honda torque FTL...nonetheless, 430hp is impressive.

  • yah honda's have low tq but theiir light weight so its not so bad, thats y hondas arent for fat ppl, its a plus if ur body is lightweight as well(joke)

  • Proper tuning is the KEY! go check out evans-tuning and see some of those s2k's that have been tuned on stock internals with just a thicker headgasket and headstuds. bunch of them well over the 450 WHP and there is one that hit 535whp i think it was.

  • no i dont get it full race did a dyno (along with other s2k with same gt30 stock motor) and made 500 plus???

can u clear sumthing up for me cuz im going to be geting the gt30 very soon.?

  • is that on pump?

  • ok i now own ant s2k im wonting to bost it but on stock internails can i do it and will the motor hold 2 it without smoking?

  • ur username shows ur characteristics, faggitnigger

  • HAHAHAHAHAH own this car with your joke of a fucking turboed car, Stage 3 srt. What are you out of your fucking mind, you MIGHT be making 300whp, if that, while being heavier and geared quite shitty.

  • LMFAO Stage3 srt4 sucks id rather have a 50 trim srt4...but it would still get raped by this s2000...

  • lol neons r ugly

  • did u say stock internals?? i got a boosted s2k with stock internals but im only running 9psi, too afraid ill blow the motor. you reckon i can push out more than 9?

  • with proper tuning you can

  • Do you or anyone else know the amount of boost that is safe for stock before you have to start putting in expensive heavy duty parts?

  • it's not the amount of boost you should be asking, it's the power levels.

20psi on a GT35 is a lot different to on a GT28. power levels are the limiting factor

  • Im looking for a comprehensive list of what I need to turbo my AP1 properly. I dont care if it doesnt push 500 or whatever. An extra 120 will do just fine and with the least lag.

I am also still undecided on the to SC or TC.

Except that it is easier to SC but ya have the extra noise while idling blah blah blah.

I also dont plan on paying 5g for either set up. That, im sure as shit about!

  • 428 whp from a s2000 is amazing. i have a honda s2000 as well. mostly i've done chasis and suspension mods and some weight reduction as well. engine is mostly stock. what kinda of naturally aspirated mods do you recommend for a 2.2L DOHC vtec I-4 engine. if any1 else is reading this, plz lemme know what kinda mods is good for s2000's engine. i dont want turbos or superchargers. have about $2000 to spend on engine. thanx

  • Buy an exhaust and some camshafts

  • thanx. what kinda camshafts and exhaust should i go for? would these mods jeopardize passing the smog?.

  • No It shouldn't effect it to bad.

Get some Brian Crower stage 2 camshafts and get the valavetrain to go with it. and get some Skunk2 Cam gears.

Then I would get a Greddy Exhaust.

  • i just can't see it... i run a gt30/76r .63 on an rb25, and at 22psi it's tapped out at 441/381, at 13psi it makes 370rwhp...i don't see how you're gonna see 500rwhp at that low of boost...this is not a big turbo..

  • Your right, the GT3076R 0.63 is a smaller turbine so it will probably max around 450-475. But using race gas will allow you to make more power thru tuning and go past 500whp. Obviously the GT35R would be more suited for the job. You should run that on your RB25.

  • @ZUL8RR RB's have low compression in relation to an S2k. He states the motor is stock, so he is running around 11:1. His numbers are believable for a gt30r.

  • @ZUL8RR maybe on an engine with a lower compression ratio. the s2k has a high compression ratio to begin with so its gonna make more power than a car with a compression ratio lower than the s2k's

  • is that racing fuel???

  • No, its 93 octane. With race fuel, and possibly 3mm head gasket, 500whp is possible.

  • did u port and polish ur head or sleve ur block??? i got a s2000 and i was going to get the exact same head gasket. and probaly run it with 10-12 psi. do u think i might need to get head studs to run that set up.???? and did u get a diferent throttle body????

  • The block is stock,..... no PNP, no sleeves, no aftermarket rods/pistons. Its all stock except the 2mm Cometic gasket and ARP head studs. The ARP head studs is a safety measure, you should run it. Throttle body is stock.

  • nice numbers....has that 30r been modified? extremely high numbers for 15psi.........

  • dynojet corrected numbers. Off the shelf GT30R .63AR

  • the most I ever seen a car move on a dyno

  • Some one didnt strap it down correctly. That s2000 made alot of power but even 1000hp supras dont jump that much. I should know... i have a 470hp s2000 myself.

  • I said the same thing, I went to school and if we strapped a car down like that they would of flipped the fuck out

  • is your exhaust custom made???

  • where can you get that turbo?

  • Wicked power, especially since its done on a Dyno Dynamics.

  • yep, still here... why??

  • Is the car still around?

  • bitchin

  • freaking sweet

  • This was on pump gas, 93 octane.
