who ever thinks dallas is better then spencer, i understand where you're coming from...if your only listen to TOCS. DTGL and LITSOS are both amazing records. You can't even argue about an intensity factor considering DTGL is way more intense then any of the older records. The tow most recent records show real progress as a band, i'm not completely ripping on the old albums, i enjoy the occasional listen but there are redeeming qualities on those old records.

@7292011 Who cares if they don't hit every note perfect with the clean vox? Back then, hardcore was about raw passion and intensity...rocking the fuck out and who cares if you miss a note or two! Today half the bands run their live vocals through pro-tools anyway and still don't put on a better show than most of the shitty "hardcore" that's out there today. At least these guys keep it real and don't cheat it.

i love underoath. i love spencer. but dallas is better i think. idk....like its more deep and passion in their lyrics and music than it is now. it seems like they just write about songs these days to write songs. in the older songs they sound more like actual things that they feel and is so surreal. i can relate with some things they say lyrically.
