@ncbookz You could make a tubular chimney to flow the smoke out! Or even better, dig the pit deeper, make the smoke exit pass under the soil, under where you sleep. The warm air rises up so if the tube going under you is higher than the pit, i assume this should work... There's some reflexion to do :)
im assuming that the smoke gets pulled down the secondary hole? the primary is obviously feeding the pit naturally, what about fuel usage is it more or less efficient? i can see it concentrates the heat but does it burn through wood faster?
