  • Hey its like a rocket stove!

  • 

  • no smoke? could this be used inside a teepee or a wood shelter? just trying to think of the best way to keep a spider hut warm with no smoke

  • @ncbookz You could make a tubular chimney to flow the smoke out! Or even better, dig the pit deeper, make the smoke exit pass under the soil, under where you sleep. The warm air rises up so if the tube going under you is higher than the pit, i assume this should work... There's some reflexion to do :)

  • Very nice indeed. I think this is the best way to do a fire.

  • im assuming that the smoke gets pulled down the secondary hole? the primary is obviously feeding the pit naturally, what about fuel usage is it more or less efficient? i can see it concentrates the heat but does it burn through wood faster?

  • so does a dakota hole work off the idea of getting really good air flow?

  • @RavenBlaze yup

  • @RavenBlaze it is for several different reasons it is to leave no or to little trace, it is less noticeable night

  • @BushcraftSoutheast thanks!

  • mooi man!! geen gezeik van politie ! want geen rook xD

  • Nice job on the firepit Barry! You did a great job

  • Now all you need to do is throw something fun into the fire.

  • Nice one, no smoke at all.
