@oneeye9426 I (& you) will correct myself; there was ACTUAL money back in the Old Test. What I was attempting to emphasize that ppl tithed & gave from their INCREASE: whether it was money or crops. I also erred by entering this discussion (Titus 3:9) "But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain." I WAS BEING FOOLISH 2think my 2cents would influence anyone. It's the power of the WORD that should do that-not me.

People back then gave of their crops because they didn't have DOLLARS, PESOS, EUROS, etc. Where is it in the Bible that "those pastors" are going to hell? And I thought the Bible said that "the LOVE of moneY was the root of all evil"; where in the Bible does it say "ALL EVIL MONEY IS VERY WICKED?"

@vixplaylist I believe you need to study the Old Testament because people did have money back then. My former pastor used to tell us that lie all the time and I believed it until I read it for myself. Exodus 30:11-16, Ezekiel 45:10 & 12, Neh. 10:32, Exod 30:13 &16, Lev 27:25 just to name a few. There are plenty more Old Testament scriptures that talks about them having actual money back then but I really only needed one to disprove your misguide comment about them not having money back then

@vixplaylist Malachi was addressed to dishonest priest under the Old Covenant. Luke 6:38 is talking about giving not tithing. Matt. 23:23 does not endorse tithing. It was addressed to the Pharisees(whom He called hypocrites) who were tithing herbs and neglecting the weightier matters of the Law. Tithes were NEVER MONEY. Please understand that the New Covenant was established at Christ's death not His birth. Shekels, darics, denaris, silver, gold, were all forms of currency in the Old Testament

The fact is SUFFERING is a blessing, some people just can't get that. We pray to be removed from poverty/ suffering/ persecution but Paul never prayed to be removed from his trials but instead he found the good in every situation and God was Glorified through Paul's suffering.

Show me one that says Jesus was poor. Show me one that God BLESSES the obedient. mercy and grace are given freely. But the blessing requires obedience. Get in your word and stop being lazy.

As I've stated, whether you be right or wrong about Creflo Dollar is to be more thoroughly investigated. Showing a blip on youtube and drawing conclusions from a little blip and broadcasting it as evidence of sin is what I am referring to. In the reporting world, we would call that misrepresentation without all the facts. Slander doesn't become you.

Anyone with common sense can see what Creflo Dollar is all about and this clip that was shown just proves what his heart yearns for; what his eyes are attracted to. It just goes to show that Heaven doesn't seem the treasure of His heart. Creflo lusts for money and material things, not God, the Bible, holiness and being conformed to Jesus Christ.

It's REALLY sickening. He says if it weren't for the blood of Jesus and you came to his church and didn't tithe, he'd line you up with all the others, pass out guns then shoot you all dead.

This man twists scripture for his own goal of getting richer. He says "tithing will keep you in heaven"...and that if you tithe it's "impossible to go to hell."

No one has to go by this clip alone to conclude that Creflo Dollar is a false teacher. If you know Scripture, it is beyond obvious. The love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10), we are not to be greedy and store up earthly treasures (Matthew 6:19-21), & we CANNOT serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). THAT is not slanderous, that is fact.

Mr. Dollar teaches another gospel.

He also browbeats people into tithing and presents a watered down gospel. God's word calls the Christian to draw conclusions (judge) based upon the evidence in light of His word. @I21GenieLee The bible is completely untested and definitely not proven. There's not a single story in the bible that has ever been proven to be true by any accounts. The bible is nothing more than a collection of stories put together by humans, and then edited, and then re-edited, and then re-put together by other men cause they didn't like the original publication of it. Christians didn't like how it was originally, so they changed it to suit what they wanted.

@TheTwistedPsykie I encourage you to look up Robert Wilson's "A Scientific Investigation of the Old Testament." I'm pretty sure most of it can be found online. He does a pretty solid job of investigating the Old Testament text and showing how historically accurate. And the Old Testament Canon, which is what we have today, was completed and closed in approximately 300 B.C.

@SpcMedia21 excellent question, glad you asked. Until anything in the Bible is proven true, I don't believe. Simple reasoning. If God wants to show himself, I'll believe. Not the other way around. And, for the sake of argument, assuming the Bible is in fact true, I still wouldn't worship the God of the Christian Bible. Any being that demands worship or belief in an event that took place 2000 years before I existed, or face eternal torture, is not a god I care to love.

@SpcMedia21 Also, any being that is supposedly omniscient would clearly have known that the Bible was going to be translated and revised in various languages throughout the years leading to uncertainty and arguing of the true meaning of many passages, would be penned by unknown authors (preventing authentication), and would not have chosen this medium to carry the most important message in the universe. Seriously, a book? That's the best the creator of the entire universe could do?
