  • Anyone that can point me out to whre you can download this game?

  • @KamakiriMusic Don't, just buy it for your wii or gamecube for like 5-10 bucks off of ebay/amazon. Emulators suck, only the highest end computers can run emulations at optimal performance. My $2000 gaming computer can't even run this because they were simply, designed for the consoles.

  • @video166 I have to game rom now, and my 1000$ computer runs it at 50 constant fps ;D

Your emulator must have bad settings. Also I do not won a wii or GC, and I do not plan to own one either :)

  • @KamakiriMusic Whatever, damn pirate. Get a job and buy your own games, they only cost 20-60 bucks. It's people like you that make decent game developers go out of business, because your lazy can't actually buy your own products.

  • @video166 cba job and study at the same time. It has nothing to do with "laziness" since it is easier to buy the game, then it is to pirate it, i spent like 3 hours to get it to work. I am also not driving anyone of of business buy downloading 9 year old games, also you cannot drive nintendo out of buisiness. Get real

  • my Wii got stolen so i can't play this anymore and i wish it was ported on the pc.

... this game is my favorite Racing game PERIOD.

  • @yostoyou

So use the Dolphin Emu and you can play it on your PC

  • @cptcrogge naah. i can't stand to see a game this good get destroyed by a whole bunch of annoyances like graphical glitches, sound skipping or missing cutscenes.

  • Lag

  • @86darkhorse

Caused by Fraps, try it yourself

  • I have a dual core Pentium and it runs the same

  • or better yet, i can go play it on my Wii or Gamecube :D

i was considering getting the emulator so i had something to do at school, but its not wort all the downloads + pluss my pc does not stand up to the reqirements.

  • Can I run this on my Laptop?

    Intel i7 2630Qm

    Nvidia GTX 560M SLI 3GB

    8GB 1333Mhz Ram

    Laptop is Asus G74SX

    OR

    AMD Phenom II P940 X4

    Ati Radeon 5650 1GB

    6GB 1333Mhz Ram

    HP Dv7

  • Fraps' bottleneck is the the harddisk, most of the time.

  • Can I run it smoothly with these specs? plz reply man :\

    AMD phenom II x6 1100T

    Ati HD Radeon 6850 1 gb GDDR5

4 gb RAM 1333 MHZ Kingston

  • Im able to run most race courses with dips almost never under 60 at an amazing 2560x1440 INTERNAL RESOLUTION!! with a x16 ani. filter, no stutter.

It really is amazing to see, but the catch is you need a SANDY BRIDGE INTEL.

2500k makes dolphin its bitch (especially once you overclock it)

  • start menu lags a bunch for me so do the selection screens...when ever a map loads the game crashes and win7 tells me that dolphin has closed.... then i come here and see someone with perfect gameplay wtf..I have a 6core AMD processor, 1GB video ram and 8GB ram... i have a gamming pc hjigh end and this just doesnt work. this is madening. Only smash bros works fine for me. Not even Star Wars works im at a loss here cuz i see everyone playing these games and i cant get it working right at all. :|

  • @True2TheBlueYoViGang Wich Version are you using? Do you use Version 3.0 or one of the newer revision-builds. Did you configure your Dolphin? Just look into the Dolphin-Wiki and search for the game. There is a good configuration and a bunch of tips for running this game.

  • @henne00100 yeah it says to use an older version of the emulator lol fuck that...i dont feel like redownloading and reconfiguering the joystick and stuff again... i just want to play stuff that works damn it hahaha.

  • where can i find the code for this to play on dolphin, fuck i wish i knew more bout this shit. can anybody help me out?

  • Very impressive. I've been debating between a C2Q processor for my current motherboard or going with a Core i3 and getting a new motherboard for it. The Core i7's are a bit out of my price range (I can't afford $300 for a processor plus what it'd cost for a motherboard), and it looks like a Core i7 is essentially just a Core i5 overclocked (many of them have the same amount of cache).

Plus, the 12MB cache on the C2Q is very hard to pass up...

  • will a six core computer with a 2gb videocard run f zero gx on full speed?

  • @BIueFalcon Dolphin is just using 2 cores. So it depends on the CPU you have. I got a PhenomX4 955 3,2GHz and it runs smoothly~

  • Real shame the the NTSC version doesn't work on Dolphin 3.0

  • where did you get the rom for the game?

  • Why dont they make more of these games?

  • F-Zero GX in 720p? Man that is SEXY!

  • @TailsSR yep in full speed, check out my fzero vid,i get 60 fps!in 720p,too bad fraps slows it down so i have to use 480p with fraps, still nice, ive learnt that by using a different os(vista 64)different emu (r6097),and change the settings abit you get from 15fps to 60fps even in 720p

  • y la cancion de mute city?? and the mute city song?

  • @DemonStrke esa es la cancion de mute city pero pues es una version mas nueva si prestas atencion se escucha una parte de la del n64

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • Strange, I got an Athlon II 640@ 3,3 ghz and im using the latest x64 svn and i get very bad performance (15-40 fps) any my vehicle select screen runs at 12fps O.o Are there any critical options which increase speed?

  • @LoqueTheBoss Which Video card do you have? Try using OpenGL, it works better with GC games.

  • @battlelinux it's a Radeon HD 5570. Does it make that much difference?

  • @LoqueTheBoss Yes, I use a HD6870 and it makes quite a difference.

  • FAKE

  • @cerebron10 LOL wut? how the fuk is this shit fake? XD

  • hey where did you download dolphin? I can't find where D:

  • @Deivix9719 dolphin - emulator . com

  • nitnedo+sega=falcon punch?

    ...

    this is dangerous info

  • WTF is it posible to get rid of that damn box around da ship?! plz reply!

  • good job.. i wonder will star wars III rebel strike and zelda collector's edition work dolphin 2.0 x86 or x64?

  • IT lags. Fuck the Dolphin

. HD don't matter. Fucking graphics whores

  • @PATRIOT7ME lol uuuuh...it doesnt matter, ok, but its MUCH NICER to game in HD. its TECHNOLOGY. Nintendo shuld hav had HD this gen too =/ no ofense of course, im jus sayin

anyways hpw funy it is that i found u here XD

  • @DaLooseGoose11

Yes it does matter because the framerate drop is what messes up the gameplay.BTW you are starting to sound like a graphics freak. HD don't matter and the reason why nintendo didn't have HD for this gen is because nobody really had HDTV's and it would make the wii cost too much.

Games are about gameplay not looks.

  • @PATRIOT7ME lol uuuuh..but Sony and Microsoft were headin toward the future =/

i kno wat u mean, but cmon man 480p vs 720p at the LEAST, eeeh...its 2010, ya kno?.. =/ but i respect wat u say

  • @DaLooseGoose11

No, Sony and Microsoft were jumping into a market that wasn't even there yet. BTW nintendo did jump into the future. Motion controls my friend.

Seriously Graphics don't matter. I have played some of the best looking games before and they played like shit.

Games are about playing not looks.

Yeah it is 2010? So? Btw the dolphin doesn't even do real HD anyway. It is just upscaled. Real HD is native. Hell COD4 and Modern Warfare 2 aren't real HD. THey are upscaled HD.

  • that's pretty good, but if nintendo would make a wii version (i want so bad) it would have to be better than that obviously, but yea this is pretty good and doing better than this looks hard

  • my game crashes before it goes to the main screen, do you know how to fix this? every other game works perfectly like mario sunshine, smash brothers, resident evil etc.

  • this game is on my computer only 50-75 % speed :(

  • Hey what kind of specs would I need to run this? Like graphics card, processor, etc.

  • i got it on vista and i dowloaded the iso of f-zero gx

first it says that i need to format my memory card

than i start if for the first time i get to the menu to create a name

than he says that the savegame loaded than the game stops i only see the intro: sega en the a

than its says dolphin dont work

  • @boraboe2 change on options to JIDL Experimtal recopiler (i think it was named

like that) it shoud work now

  • I'm managing anywhere between 15-60fps, depending on the track. For some reason it runs pretty much perfectly on Mute City tracks for example, but is downright unplayable on Sand Ocean tracks.

  • Hey my custom desktop can totally handle the emulator no problem. Is there any work being done for a 1080p plugin?.

  • @archangel5993 just change the screen res of Dolphin up to 1080

  • i heard that Dolphin v2.0 is a prototype. i have it and all but two games work! please tell me what version can work that all my games work! my computer is a Windows 7 Win64 version. the games that work are New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. and please contact me when Dolphin is no longer a prototype!

  • @scoobydude51 Dolphin SVN R 6088 64-bit runs zelda wind waker and bonus disc for me but wont run smash bros so i have 2.0 for sash bros and Dolphin SVN R 6088 64-bit for everything else

  • To get this running well, go here: forums(dot)dolphin-emu(dot)com/thread-6957(dot)html

    It's where nosound98 originates.

  • I have the x86 bit and (as i'm sure you've heard a million times) it crashes right after the memory card load. I have all my drivers updated and have the proper Visual C++ components installed, i'm only asking because it's several months later, has a fix been made yet?

  • is this downloadable on the wii?

  • @thenomeer the Dolphin emu is for a computer, having a gamecube/wii emu on the wii seems a bit... pointless

  • I'm assuming the judderyness is down to the video capture software as the FPS seems to constantly be above 40 and it should still play smoothly even at 30 FPS. The audio is a bit concerning but maybe like the judderyness of the video it may be down to the video capture programme and the game plays fine by itself.

  • @surfacingtacit You're correct, Fraps is a bastard to handle even for quads. Runs nicely at full speed with latest revisions of Dolphin :)

  • @nosound98 What settings are you using?

  • @nosound98 how come i get less fps than u when i have a phenom ii x4 970 3.5ghz ,i get 25 fps with cars in the backround( i use the lowest setting in dolphin)my video is intergrated ati 4290 i am on 3gigs at 667mhz,i am on 32bit sys, i know that the phenom beats the core 2 duo in every way

  • @nosound98 Fraps works really well (or at least better) if you save the files to a different hard drive than where you have your games saved.

  • omgomg i got dolphin but i need to know where to download! please tell me where

  • Comment removed

  • looks amazing in widescreen

  • lol im 40000 viewer!, im wondering how can i make it fast, my game sucks in velocity

  • dude please answerme, i have the most recent dolphin (web s official 2.0) then i got the svn 5636 (i dont get it) then i find that i cant play some games whitout the JitIL version ok now jitIL its a mod of 2.0 or 5636 or is an independent development i just dont understand and then i find that thers another two dolphin versions dolphinwin and dolphinxtg or something like that, so where i can follow the jitIL development you know any reference? if i find something i tell you thanks.

  • How can you obtain such great fps? is there something special to set? i got an extensa laptop with great hardware on it, but f-zero really laggs on speed! (about 5fps!) and some other games too. graphics detail are about the minimum you can set (native 640x480). emu is dolphin 2.0

  • @Teslatez Yeah, i'd like to know this too. I have a very high end computer, but... I get 20-30, New Super Mario Bros. goes 20FPS... and its not very playable.

  • where can i attain the rom?

  • F-Zero is AWESOME!

  • youve got a fast pc

  • can somebody tell me why the game always chrashes, when i'm playing f-zero gx in gp or story mode? after a few seconds the game is just like frozen in

    so.. can somebody help me?

  • is this the ntsc version or the pal version. i have ntsc, but ime not about to go through the work of making a iso if only the pal version is working.

  • Looks nice. I have a question: I figure its illegal to link sites to some rom (or isos) here but is there a site with a list what games are working? Or do they *all* work?

  • @SethepDR there is a list at the dolphin website.

  • Intel Core 2 Quad Q9505 2.83 GHz

    4GB RAM DDR2 800 MHz

    Geforce 9800GT 512Mb

    320GB HDD

    Windows 7 Ultimate x64

  • I'm wondering if this is U or EU and whether or not that makes a difference as far as compatibility goes.

  • EU is the only one that can actually go into gameplay, U can only go into menus.

  • @undedz Hmm... nvm... I found out for myself...

...that actually, that's not correct. I got the U version going ingame just fine and even did a couple of cups.

There is a problem I've had with shadows though. The shadow fix described in the video description seems to cause random crashes. Could just be that it's Dolphin2.0 and not the latest SVN though.

  • Damn! This game looks better than the average Wii game!

  • i have a problem, i just bought a new pc with windows 7, and it has x86, will i be able to install f zero gx?

  • @loconegrito You don't "Install" the game, you download the emulator and then download the iso of the game (f-zero in this case) and run it in the emulator. And Dolphin comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit so you'll be fine.

  • @warriorccc0 Wrong again :P ,you download dolphin and you DUMP the original game

    @TheRocketman9 maybe , but the speeds depends of the game that you are using ( and if you have a C2D , i3 , i5 , i7 CPU )

  • they should add a disclaimer: WARNING! HIGH SPEC!

  • Agreed.

  • the computer he used isn't much more than 600$ so i wouldn't call it high spec.

  • Yeah, I got mine for $800 and it works like a charm with some slowdowns. Hell, it has a freaking Radeon HD 4770 and 8GB of RAM!

  • can you send me a link of your revision of dolphin?

  • What kind controller are using btw, or are you using the computer keyboard?

  • does anyone use any of the other character besides Falcon (or blood Falcon/ Samari Goro) becuase it seems like every is gonna use them because they were in SSB!

  • Because they are starting characters and Falcon does offer some decent performance in spite of that :)

  • OOOH YES

F-Zero GX is playable on Dolphin ^.^

I love playing this game on my GC now i can play it on my PC thanks dolhin team !!!

    5* Damn Stars

  • works excellent on my compy, except story

    specs:

    core i7 920 @ 2.67 ghz

    4gb 1333mhz ram

    9600gt

    asus rampage 2 extreme

    windows 7 64 bit

  • Hey megaknightz, how much does the core i7 920 cost? Is it the one that costs about $280 or $980?

    Thanks in advance!

  • It's the cheapest one.

  • whats your PC Hardware?

  • maybe is a dumb question, but can u play online on dolphin?

  • you need a beast of a pc to play this perfect no hiccup right...or is this what you get no matter what for now?

  • It'll probably hiccup every so often even with a really high end machine but keep in mind, what you see in the video would be better without the lag caused by recording.

  • everytime i try to start the emulator it says ( dolphine.exe is not a valid win32 application what does that mean ? and how can i get around it ? my computer can run resident evil 5 bioshock 1 and 2 with no problems so my computer shouldnt be out of date , any help would be great.

  • @chrisliam2 It means you've downloaded the 64-bit version of the app but only have a 32-bit system. Remember you need a 64-bit OS as well as a 64-bit processor in order to run 64-bit applications; having just a 32-bit os with a 64-bit processor wont enable it.

  • right ive got a 32bit version and it seems to be working quite well but i dont think ive got the most up to date 32bit version , would you happen to know a good site that would have the most up to date 32bit version ? thanks for your reply

  • can use a controller with this or just the keyboard

  • you can use a controller or just the keyboard :)

  • I wish my machine could handle this. I didn't even know GX existed until the other day. I'm stuck playing F-zero X on Project64

  • Dolphin has come a long way over the past couple of years, playing Gamecube at HD resolution is a fantastic experience! Great job developers!

  • could u get it yourself lazy-ass? google exists for a reason

  • oh, so now ur gonna get profanic? I have been looking and i cant find any working roms

  • it took me 20 minutes to find the .iso of f-zero GX, looks like u dont know how to use google my friend :P

  • yo nosound89 i got linked here via dolphin-emu and ya...i was wondering if you could give me a heads up on the site...im trying to dl FZ GX and i cant find a dl link...so if you could point me in the right direction..

    thanks.

  • Very good demonstration !

  • Asus Pk5 SE Quad Q6600 2.40 6GB ram ddr2 an older machine but when I loaded Mario Super Sluggers it looked washed and sandy! I just downloaded the most recent Dolphin having put in The Price is Right and boom just like the Wii! One question: Is the Wii's sensor bar usb?

  • No, it has a special plug for Wii. There are 3 ways of using IR sensor in Dolphin:

    1. Use wireless one for Wii. Works well with Dolphin.

    2. Build your own using leds

    3. Use trick with candles (use Google for this one)

  • i have a 2gb ram and 160 gb with an amd athlon video card 64 bit runung windows 7 is that good enough ?

  • Oh come on can't you go faster than this, you've got plenty of boost left before the boost regens (it truly itches me to see that :o )

  • how do you get this game to work? using r5054, the game starts, and i start grand prix, and during the countdown, the announcer says 'out of race' or something like that, and then the words retire pop up.. soo, unplayable.

  • Use JitIL experimental recompiler

  • @nosound98 wuts that? also, wut plugin settings u got. for direct3d9. also is there a directx10 or 11 oplugin? i got an msi ati radeon hd 5770

  • I'll be downloading Dolphin once I get my new desktop. Right now, the best PC I have is an HP laptop with a 1.6 GHz single core and an ATI Radeon HD 3410. :(

  • Im interested in a technical explenation WHY it used to end the race directly.

  • @GizmoTheGreen : you mean the problem that the game had before?

The MMU wasn't implemented yet :P

  • and that affected it how?

tell me values and such, lol

  • 2 people with xbox joystick and a computer like yours can run the multiplayer?

  • yes

  • FALACON PANWCH!!!!!!!!!

  • this run monster hunter tri??

  • @39XXXPunkEmoXXX93 and RDilus: Dolphin is most CPU dependant , as long as you have an Nvidia or a ATI card you are fine ( right RDilus? :D )

Fuck intel graphics cards, they suck

But both cards have their own problems , ATI have ( or had ) a memory leak that makes dolphin closeafter 10 minutes , and nvidia have problems handling large viewports :P

  • @DrBlooper yes cpu is most inportant

it just doesnt matter if you have ati or nvidia

  • @RDilus exactly :D

  • @DrBlooper i bet emupunker never used a emu before lol

  • Where can I download the 4771 revision?

  • This game is only 10 dollars now, really no point in pirating.

  • Who said people pirated this? Many people rip your own games via specific LG DVD drives or Wii homebrew. And before you ask "why not just play it on the original system" - HD resolutions. Seriously, some people use Dolphin only for that (to their credit some HDTVs have REALLY crappy scalers, making the Wii's 480p look horrlble)

  • Great job dolphin team! Now only if we could replace the sound track with the N64 version =) Still dont know what they were thinking changing the style, it completely changed the feel of the game for me.

  • Sound uses .ADX

    There's a WAV2ADX converter out there

Try it for yourself and see how it goes =D

  • How can he break the sound barrier and still hear the sound?

  • @pmcted2: he has ear plugs ;)

  • runs well on my system if im playing by myself or versus, but with ai seems to lag, also depends on which track too. Im using p7450 @ 2.57ghz, 9800m gs 610/970/1570, and yea story mode doesnt work.

  • Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHz

    Memory: 8192MB RAM

Card Type: NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS

Could I run F-Zero GX at near full speed with these specs?

  • @undedz of course :D i can run it at full speed with an AMD 2 Core Processor! :D Okay, maybe there could be some problems with your Graphic Card :D GameCube works best with ATI :P

  • Dolphin only uses 2 cores

i bet he wouldn't run it full speed if the guy with dual core 2.57 is having trouble.

  • @39XXXPunkEmoXXX93 not true gc wont work better with ati lol biggest bs i ever heard lmao

  • @RDilus It is True cuz GameCube has a ATI Graphicschip ;) It works much better with ATI! MY friend has the same build as i an there are many Graphical errors in Super Smash Bros Melee! :D

  • @RDilus +he has a Nvidia 8800 GT and i have a ATI Radeon HD 5750

  • @39XXXPunkEmoXXX93 ehh its a lie dude -,- really if you really believe emulation works like this then ur the biggest retard walk around i also got a 5750 and a 9800GTX and i get better pefromce from my 9800GTX in emulation

  • @RDilus But not with the same CPU ;)

  • cool stuff.

  • G-g-go!

  • Have the latest version now but dolphin says me i have to redump this game

  • This is one of the happiest days of my life!!!!

  • Wiiiiii!!!!!! :D

  • unfortunately my windows is 32, so i have to wait tr play in the pc , i go play in the gc meanwhile

  • You can try using the IL version. (In the latest revs, you should go to "Config" option, and then you should change the "Jit" to "JitIL Experimental"). ;)

  • It's a revolution !

  • Thats Awesome..can someone tell me were i can download dolphin x64 4867??

On the homepage i can just find 4771

  • Check the forums there is a svn discussion section there you can find unofficial builds.

  • go to the forums and go to the svn section they update with new builds constantly

  • kudos to the dolphin development team.

for some reason the direc3d plugin unselectable on dolphinIL x64 for me (win 7 ultimate x64) but i can select it at the x86 version thru mentioned os.

updated to latest directx august 2009 executables

opengl is painfully slow on a 4650!

  • this looks so promising!

the only issue with all of those is that you constantly need to get their 'latest' graphic cards and all their bullshit... even though you have a brand new computer or a laptop.

it would be so much better if they could make it work good with common intel chipsets so that everyone could enjoy!!

(and not just the hardcore gamers...)

  • Not really, plugin I used requires you only to update DirectX and here you go! :) (Direct3D)

    Works even on Intel chipsets

  • Well, i got F-zero GX working with a Intel X3100, but reeeealy slow (4fps-15fps mostly)..

I'm not sure if this can run decently (least 40fps, 50vps) with a Nvidia G105 graphic card, with all the plug-in setting in low resolution and no AA and Anisotropic settings.

  • @ciberyo3001 actually you don't need a very new GPU at all, just one with OpenGL 2.0 support AFAIK (heck even my old Radeon 9600 should be enough - maybe not at HD resolutions though)

And the reason you can't use Intel is because they rarely support OpenGL very well at all. Really it's no excuse because even the ATI and Nvidia integrated graphics are miles better. It's simply because Intel is primarily a CPU company, so they want people to pay attention and rely more on the CPU than the GPU.

  • HOLY CRAP IT FINALLY WORKS!

I swear I'm crying manly tears right now. F-Zero GX in HD, here I come!

  • Okay, I've tried it out on my computer now (which is actually pretty similar to yours). It experiences slowdown on some stage, especially the desert stage (first cup, race 2). It also has intermittent crashes. I was able to complete 4 races before it crashed on me. Could still be fun if you use cheats to unlock all the races and then just do individual races. Haven't managed to make it to the end of a cup though.
