Darn those British people! They have Doctor Who, Avengers, The Chronicles of Narnia miniseries fron 1988, this show and Space: 1999! what do we Americans have? vampires here and vampires over puking there!! It's making us look dumb. Well we do have A-Team, He-Man, Star Trek (up to enterprise which stank), MST3K, Leverage, and the 60's Batman show, so there's that.
@TheEnglishdog I did watch a few Blake's 7 season 1 episodes, but I got bored quickly, I read somewhere that the show was way cool by season 3 but I can't find any episodes to watch after season 2 premiere episode, and there aren't any Dvds in America, so I moved on to other shows. Avon is cool though.
@CaptEoNinja83 You should check out the last episode, its brilliant, and its posted here somewhere. Avon ( Paul Darrow ) was the best actor there, I think he gave up tv soon after B7 to be a shakespearian theatre actor.
We had this; Space 1999 and Doctor Who. Growing up as a child in the seventies we seemed to have the shit scared out of us on a regular basis. Great show.
thank you SO much for these! I had forgotten all about this show until now. I really wish they had made more. Superb acting from the two leads, especially David McCallum . Quality TV
I was born in Dec 1977 and I remember these. They used 2 be on around the same era as Hammer House of Horrors & Alfred Hitchcock Presents...I loved creepy things even as a young child. I'm amazed my mum & dad used 2 let me stay up so late! Was there not an episodeof this where Steel had no eyes, nose or mouth on his face, it was just plain? I've had that stuck in my mind for years! Thanx for these - amazing.
igetwet; That sounds like something I recall but I think it was from Ace of Wands; Ive tried to find it but theres so many episodes of it on YouTube; Like you, it stuck in my mind for years;
i almost forgot that Joanna Lumley used to be a fantastic porcelain doll with a cut glass diction, thank you dalek64, may you forever be distant from trans uranic heavy elements.
I remeber an episode were saphires eyes went completly black-scared the life out of me when i was a wee lad coldnt sleep for at least a couple of weeks without seeing her face...very cool thanx 4 posting
