DD-7 is better, It has real time reverse on it and also a modulation delay so it has a little chorus with it and a little reverb. Oh and you can record up to a minute of something you play instead of 10 seconds

Marshall JVM 410 amp head, would you really need any pedals such as a distortion, delay, or overdrive pedal? Im not planning on getting that kind of amp, im just curious. certainly not distortion, and probaby not overdrive, unless youre willing to put the work in with different clean channels and those added.

delay is pretty interesting, iwouldnt advise anyone against that. what you really should look at are some dimarzio pedals.

actually DiMarzio himself is on youtube and you can get in touch with him (he answers back). he should know what to do he's been doing it as his career for god knows how long.

The amp head should get you a good amount of delay or distortion, but you can change the tone or precision of the effects on a pedal that the amp head might not be able to do.

since you need to hold down the button and wait for the tap tempo mode, can you turn it on tap tempo mode without actually having the pedal on? like say if i were playing a song with a band i dont have time to wait 2 seconds and then tap my tempo, can i just leave it on TT mode throught the song without sound coming through and when the part comes in i can tap it in?

for pink floyd you would pretty much need a whammy pedal, phaser,distortion, chorus,a couple delays,maybe a talkbox if you like the song ''keep talking'', a flanger and a tremolo, and i guess you could use some of those for led zeppelin. hope this helps

That's bad advice as far as I'm concerned, very few floyd songs need a whammy pedal. Phaser would be unusual as well, except maybe for learnnig to fly. What you'd need is a nice tube overdrive, and a delay, maybe a chorus at a push. You've just listed all the effects available, none of which are particularly relevant.

I have the DigiDelay by digitech and i don't use the reverse at all since its hard to play with to make it time and just sounds weird. Idk, personal preference.
