Hatteras is tough during the summer months. Best time is Late August/September right into the fall. Buxton usually gets the best break but it all depends on the winds - more north can be good too and further south in Frisco the break can also be a good peak. The tide can be strong in NC, not like in NY and New Hampshire where the waves can be forgiving on easy days. as usual respect the locals in NC just like in Montauk and you'll have a good time. the one "spot" that you can tell is the lighthouse in hatteras, the wave on the outer banks are generally bigger and more powerful but you need a good storm for some great surf

heyy guys! this was a great video, the surf looked really good in north carolina! hey u should try the great lakes, sounds funny but during the fall and winter we gett some good waves:) and i would love to know what this song is called, its such a good song:) it really flows with the video! happy surfing guys:)
