  • there are some scenes there never in the original movie "batteltruck" from new zealand.

  • This movie was the shit when I was a kid....rip offs to you...classics to me....back when cinema wasnt filled with cgi and other horseshit that plagues movies today....h I could find this on dvd.

  • looks like a shitty rip off of the road warrior

  • @badgerattoadhall One of the MANY shitty rip offs of Road Warrior

  • @tripdefect87 water world was another, but this is blatent

  • @badgerattoadhall Sweetie, ALL of them are blatent ;3

  • 0:01 - 0:09 what movie is that city destruction stuff from?

  • Oh & p.s- for anyone doing a google_maps streetview- keywordsare: Alexandra Golf Club, Alexandra (on the Alexandra / Clyde section of State Highway 8) or should I say- directly opposite their "entryway"- as that is the "pines" area- where the filmcrew used the TARSEALED road (to film from) as Hunter & the following battlecar- "raced" along the "woods" road .. (within fifty feet of the tarseal and parrallel too) West- for 1/2 mile from Molyneux Park Boundary- ww w(doht)MAPS.google(doht)co(doht)nz

  • I recognize footage from both Death Race 2000 and Deathsport! Joe Dante was up to his old tricks! Read Roger Corman's auto-bio for hilarious Dante anecdotes about working in the trailer dept at New World Pictures. I am surprised they didn't include their famous "exploding helicopter" shot in this one.

  • Hmm..that plane wasnt in the movie..is this version different to battletruck?

  • @farhorizonz That's the plane from Death Race 2000.

  • Hell yes!!! Battletruck!!!

I like "Battletruck" (this film's original title) to "Warlords of the 20th Century"

  • @RotoPlasmX Me too -especially as several of my own family members were EXTRAS - in the 1978 filming of the "originally" entitled... BATTLETRUCK (posibly EVEN more so .. as it was filmed extensively -- within & around our "own" family estate runhold .. which is where the Clearwater village and surrounds were located - within my father's old orchard)

  • hey look its swan from the warriors................ i love watching the warriors i watch it over and over again

  • i have this on VHS. it has a kickass 80s soundtrack. and parts of this trailer arent in the movie. sweet

  • DID HE DIED?

  • HAHA! The Explosions 0:53 are from "Deathsport"

  • uhhhh. or... battletruck?

  • how old was michael beck when he did this movie cuz he looks like he was in his 20s when he was in the warriors.

  • @cutiepie328100 Warriors was 1979, this was 1982, so he was only 3 years older then when he was in Warriors

  • Jeez, people. Get over yourselves. The movie was made in 1982. Not everything is a 100 million dollar movie. Before you kiddies get upset, realize that low-budget films were made before you were born.

  • @joiless LOL.

  • r u freakn kidding me. i remember this movie from when i was a little pup.

  • OMG... my mum saw this film on late-night TV when I was a kid, and said it was brilliant. I've been looking for this for twenty years!

  • @JCLeSinge

Very cool film. The 90s ain't got nothin' on the early 80s.

I don't remember the there being a jet fighter!

That mustn't of made the final cut.

  • This is a quality film, I downloaded it online for free in HD at: VIEWFILMSFREE {.} COM

  • dfhñsdzsjl

  • Huh. Why would you put high explosives on your motorcycle and then drive into things?

  • Why does every shitty '80s movie trailer claim A NEW KIND OF HERO, anyway?

  • @joiless Because just occasionally they didn't want to say "In a world where..."
