I have been a die-hard Peter Gabriel fan for 20 years, and Red Rain has always been my fave song of his... that being said, Ill Nino have done a SUPERB job with this song!! Redoing PG's work with integrity is no small task, being that he works with some of the top musicians in the world... they have fully succeeded in capturing the complex composition and emotion of the original piece, and have absolutely gained my respect for their musicianship in one shot with this one... very well done!!! :)

By the way, this song in my opinion is a decent tribute to the original, and offers a more powerful voice on sections of the song than Peter Gabriel, but I personally think if the band was going to go heavy voiced for it, they shouldve gone heavy percussioned for it too, since the bongos in my opinion reduce the atmosphere of the song, especially after the lyrics "the trust of a child". Finally, the song isnt complete, which for me is a disapointment. Other than that, it offers something new.
