  • definately MJR - he totally gives it 'In The Middle Somewhat Elevated' with those legs at 2:04 amazing loving his work!!

  • Gillian Lynn. the original choreographer of cats. all european versions are using the choreo. dunno about the us and other versions though, but the video uses it too.

  • U.S. uses all of the original CATS choreo. The only CATS cast I know of that doesn't (besides amateur) is Japan.

    FK

  • did Norway use the sam choreography,I know they had a completly new set design

  • Most countries except for Prague and Japan use the same traditional choreography.

  • Inotice alot of productions don't do the key change at the end. i'm glad to see that hasn't happened on the US tour.

  • Gino Emnes can sing

  • he is such a good dancer

is there any other vids on this site that show other actors/dancers doing the 42 spin turns like him

  • Good question!

I saw this on Broadway way back in the 80's and the spin was superb...only saw it that one time and this...the rest they pussy foort around the move... =(

  • tks for answering my question

sad that the other shows don't include that move

  • I believe the dancer I saw back in the 80's was Timothy Scott ...

  • @Frenchloprabbit yeah he was Broadway's original Misto. he had a great voice and died way too young

  • mark is such a gorgeous mistoffelees! thx so much for posting!!!

  • wow they don't even use the rope here in America anymore. I have to admit it seems weird seeing him come down just on a drumroll instead of the chorus.

  • The Dutch rocked! They are amzing!

  • Ooow alweer Gino (L)

En Mark John, die was echt gewèldig!!!!!

  • Just to let you people know, that is NOT Guy-Paul Ruolt/De St. Germain. He wasn't in this cast. He told me himself.

  • No, this is the Dutch cast and Mark John Richardson is Misto here...

  • Guy-Paul Ruolt was in the second Dutch. Back in what 1990? He was Diavalo then.

  • Nobody said it was Guy-Paul???

GP hasn't been in Cats for 3 years - this is the 06/07 Tour.

And I don't think the last comment was necessary. Fair enough, I don't think any of the comment was necessary...

  • Well he said people were asking him if that was him in the video and he was getting annoyed.(I didn't know that it exsisted until he told me). So as a precaution, I politly and briefly explained that that wasn't him. I don't think any of YOUR comment was nessecary as well. He never mentioned what cast this was or who it was in the description so I took the liberty of saying who he wasn't. Discussion over.

  • Discussion over?

So you don't allow me to defend myself?

The "Tags" clearly describe the cast.

  • Well, I changed the description so I hope it's clear now :)

  • It is thank you. Sorry if I sounded rude. Guy-Paul was getting tired of ppl asking if that was him. So I thought of taking the liberty to address it is not him. Sorry if I sounded like a jerk! :(

Geweldig filmpje!
