is quite addicting. Helmets are always encouraged. Cuz we're not completely nuts! We like to take as i say, calculated risks... Afterall its no fun recovering from road rash. or having someone clean up ur brains off the pavement. Its not about looking.Knee pads and slide gloves are key. And lots and lots of practise.

Theres lots of videos online of longboarding, do some searching and try it out!

of practise. We start on much smaller hills and gradually crank up the difficulty.

Trucks are based on preference but usually at thses speeds we use CNC cut trucks known as Precision Trucks. They help u stay stable and are super responsive. The bushings in the trucks also play key role in truck performance.

Speed wobbles are 90% mental....its ur body overcompensating and making larger then necessary muscle corrections. To avoid this u have to gradually work up your comfort to fast speed. but it

I longboard and let me answer some questions:

We slow down by either footbraking, (putting one foot on ground and using the sole of the shoe to slow down), airbraking (creating as much upper body surface area by standing up and spreading the arms) or by sliding (actually getting the board sideways and drifting)

We generally scout the roads, at least i do... Im not a fan of surprises so any prior knowledge of a run before riding it is a good thing to have. Most ppl that do this riding have alot

if this dudes going 100kmph im the fucking king of england. as an ex cyclist i have a very good eye for speed based on how fast trees and shit are going by, and this is not even within 30 kmph, if that. the times it even gets close are when the cameraman (on motorbike?) accelerates to catch up ect, but even then i doubt the camera got going over 80kmph. 100kmph is like 63 mph for those not used to km.
