  • Thanks to whoever posted this. A real "from the tube" performance!

  • Great song showing how spirited Manfred Mann with Paul Jones on lead vocals were when it came to reinterpreting the Blues. Plus Paul was the best white harp player in the 60s full stop.

  • @MrAgm65 I still love this band, this era, but - in terms of white harp players of the time - you might want to give Paul Butterfield a listen before you come to a full stop....

  • Muddy would smile that smile of His.

  • It ain't Muddy, but it's pretty damned good. Plays a pretty good harp, as well.

  • I'm goin' down over there to bring back a mojo hand...

  • An under rated band - some of their album songs are real classics.

  • A great example of how the British gave the blues back to America

  • hah, this is awful.

  • The Five Faces of Manfred Mann was about the best album I have. Paul Jones is not only so good as a singer he stages his singing like an Oscar winning performance.

  • And how 'bout Smokestack Lightning? Mebbe muddy Thames blues. . .

  • Another perfect example of just how much the British love the Blues.

  • Paul Jones is still touring these days as a blues singer. This is proof that he had it in him from the beginning.

  • yeah man i saw him 2 years ago with the blues band such a frontman great stuff.

  • great. Can I request a higher quality audio version of this song? :)

  • i appreciate that
