  • @espadawolf Their so expensive because they're on the endangered list...I just read an article about how In some Asian countries scientist think they may be already gone in the wild!!!

  • "maximum of a "tree" feet", :)

  • will asian arowanas every be legal to own in the USA?

  • @johnnyjaaav

fuck it just buy them anyways, if your still interested let me know.

  • feeding live food frowned upon?? there carnivorousness wtf do you expect

  • tan locos todos

  • How long do they live for?

  • @hcogirl604 sometimes up to 40 yrs. but on average, in a house aquarium, maybe 10-15yrs.

  • brooo im so rich i use these to wipe my bum

  • That's native Indonesian fish you know, if your lucky maybe you can fish one of those in borneo.

  • @gunawanfahri That'd be like fishing a common carp from a pond to buying a bubble eye T_T

  • yea right how much will it cost to send 4 here to nyc I want 2 mail and 2 female i wan't the blood red mixed with blake can you do that let me now. thank bro.

  • they don't have to many in the world thats y you can not get one here in the usa. it's endangered So thats y you cant get one in the usa.

  • @nyc200210805 I can get them anytime in oregon. They have them at oasis in Redmond Oregon.

  • I told the poles about getting one and they told me no you can not get one. if you do wan't one you have to pay a lot of money in the BMK. If the poles finds out that you got one, they will com and take it away from you,and they will give you a fine and then you will go to jail. So If I were you I would not tell anybody that you have one here on youtube if you live in the usa. Trust me you could go to jail. they don't play.around here they bring you to jail.

  • matt clarke must be his white name

  • can u send to brunei?and do u have red tail golden around 6-7inci?

  • wow. .its soooo red.!!

  • YES. YOU CAN IMPORT THIS FISH TO THE USA; HOWEVER, YOU HAVE TO HAVE ALL THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS IN ORDER TO GET THIS AROWANA FISH.

  • you can't get that fish in the usa you go to jail if they get you.

  • @nyc200210805 i cant figure you americans out! you can walk around with a gun on your waist but its illegal to have a red fish in your tank.

  • TREE FEET!

  • Those arowana are beautiful.

  • Woah why are they so expensive!

  • god iwant this fish can ihave one for freeee

  • why are they so beautiful?

  • I need London Tipton! buy ALL THIS AROWANA

  • @drunkdivamariahcarey hahahaha Lmao

  • what dose obama have to do with Fish.....get a life people!

  • those are so beautiful

  • nice fish,hi ,i need some comment with my arowana,ps comment.

  • Arowana certainly are elegant, beautiful fish, but knowing that live food is inevitably if you want your fish to 'thrive' puts m off.

  • I find it amazingly difficult to believe it is illigal to feed fish live foods anywhere in the world. Thats what they eat normally, im personally not a fan of feeding your fish goldfish tho,, simply because they are not normal prey. Baby Mice, Earthworms, meal worms, crickets moths ect all good stuff

  • He asked about feeding the fish live food in the UK... I thought that was illegal now... I know it is definitely illegal to feed piranha live food here. But really how would anyone know if you went out and bought ten 10p goldfish? I don't think I would have the heart to feed my fish live goldfish, though, because I keep fancy goldfish, but I do feed my siamese fighters live food, but that's just crickets and the neon they killed. I find the arowana a beautiful fish, though :D

  • Paying thousands of dollars for an aquarium fish is a racket! Period.

  • Did it start off with them? My silver did and eventually lost them. I think it has to do with bumping them against the aquarium walls. They eventually turn into stubs then fade away.

  • many people like arowana why and what is the lucky for them

  • why many people like arowana and what they give to them

  • ah idk but i know they damage them and they can fall off but they are generaly regenerated, mabye too severe damamge or that the breed u have just dont have em

  • how u pik them and how do u know its a female or male

  • look at their crouch

  • why do it says ASIA DRAGON FISH FARM writein on the top of the tank????????????

  • its porbably like a breeding place, like a trout hatchery or something..

  • OH............LOL..

  • bc thats what they are called....

  • cuz the fish is from asia and ppl think its had bin form by an dragon (a water dragon)i forgot

  • hey 66sik i leave in houston and many petsotres sell full grown sivler arowana that are about 2.5ft long.....but they are about 250$

  • hi,is it true if mix arowana from young with parrot fish, red hook, the colour of the arowana will never come out..?

  • If they're endangered, then shouldn't they be raised and released into the wild instead of the pet trade? Lol. It's a joke to me, and it makes me pissed off because it's impossible to get one without having to go through hell first. Yeah, they're "illegal" to ship here, but I know a few people that somehow got one.

  • Yes, they should force the breeders to release some in the wild. Breeders won't like that because they are releasing 1000 bills into the wild and have the values of the fish decrease as well.

  • Why are they "illegal" to ship here?

  • They're on the endangered/threatened list. The one's that are legal, which are the ones that are bred through captivity, have to have a microchip put in them for records. It's not impossible to get one, and I'm not even sure if it's "illegal" because I've seen them up for sale on fish sites, but it's hard to obtain one from Asia and it'll always cost you an arm and a leg to get one.

  • O_0

    and where is this chip?

  • I don't know where they put them. I'm GUESSING on the top somewhere or maybe even in the tail.

  • Do the ones in stores have the chip in them too?

  • Any Asian arowanas that you find in the US will have a chip. I've never seen one at the petstores though, only in a few public aquariums and the one's people bought online. Some people somehow get Asian arowanas mixed up with jardinis, but they're very different. Jardinis are found in petstores, just like regular silver arowanas.

  • they have a chip in there back

  • they actually put it on the nostril

  • yes you can get them and these are not arowana these are scalaropages formosa ,,,,, they are in the ostioglossum familly and they are bread in captivitiy

  • if they''re being released into the wild, they will get hunt down by predators. Thats the reason they're endangered now. Why dont you vote for all zoological gardens to be shut down and release all the wild animals into the wild then?

  • thats not why they are endangered... they are endangered because we overfished them for their price and value. so now there is government control on them.

  • If you are rich enough it wouldn't be stupid to buy anything for any price.

  • EXACTLY!!!!

  • in australia we have simmular fish to these there called saratogas but there sivler there quite nice

  • Actually the saratoga is from the same family & is indeed an Australian Arowana.Jardini being the more popular yet more aggressive of the two Saratoga;s.

  • 300gallon + is good but even a jebo 360 gallon 10 foot is still smal for it wide wize. make sur its wider then 60cm is very good

  • What is the minimum tank requirement for one silver arowana is 125 to 150 us gallons good?

  • AT LEAST, a 300 gal

  • It sux that they are ileagal to own in the US.

  • coz bush doesnt want asian countries to improve their economy....

  • more likely you have the liberal environmentalist to blame for the ban than bush.

  • @fuckyoucibaikia So those darn liberals are plotting to keep you from owning a specific type of exotic fish. I think that was at the very top of Obama's platform for the DNC. Now, It's those wonderful neo-conservatives who are looking out for you best interests. Maybe Sean Hannity will help you smuggle a chili-red from Canada.

  • @bociferousmimi STFU libertard. Go suck on Obama's dick.

  • @bociferousmimi Environmentalists stopping trades of endangered species is hardly a secret. You wanna talk about stupid conspiracy theories? Let's run through the dumbass theories you lefties come up with, Including Bush stole the election, 9/11 was an inside job, Bush went to Iraq for oil, Lunar lending was faked, the catholic church is a pedophile ring, and my personal favorite, the establishment wants you to eat meat. Go eat shit.

  • @abcede well too bad. bush isn't president anymore. =P

  • hey, just curious...umm...if the red arowana has a chip on it, can it be sent here to the US?

  • the chip is IN it, not ON it. no, they are illegal to import/own in the us. they are on the c.i.t.e.s. list (endangered species), google it

  • 40 bucks? haha you dumbass!! that fish is worth no less than 10 grand!! dummy

  • ive seen them for 500- 4,000 there not 10 grand unlesss there iregularly big

  • he didnt say dollars..its in pounds..UK money..dumbass

  • very educational, thanks for sharing!

  • i can get one of these for £40. whats the cach did i here you say its about 4 inch long and just silver. But im not aloud to get one. My tank is big enought.

  • i ve seen one which cost more than 50k -__-

  • Tell me where can I steal one OF THIS FISH in US.

  • It's endangered in it's natural habitat so it's illegal to buy or sell in the USA. A shame because they breed thousands in captivity every year.

  • Pretty fish!

  • A very informative interview

  • Look! People in my country ( S'pore ) speak English so well.

  • haha same here

  • will asian arowanas be legal to have in the united states anytime soon????

  • You means it's illegal currently? Why? I don't understand man!

  • i dont know why, because of "cites" it a group of people who control what illegal and what not...cause asian arrowanna are one time nearly wipe out by people who can catch them in the wild...so this cite team slow it down..

  • wow i saw an arowana baby about 3 inches long for 15$ not sure what it was i think it said australian i might get it.

  • I wouldn't mind working on a fish farm like this myself -- just so long as I can take home 1 arowana a day ;-). LOL Awesome arowanas, and fairly reasonable prices. I've seen some tards around here saying something like, "90K".

  • ok if u know about price golden arowana small one how much it cost me

  • yea...some asiam arowanna can go up to about 3 to 4 grand

  • Some arowanna go much much higher than that. Platinums for instance can for over 100 grand.

  • really nice fish esp da colour :)

  • omg is that there natural color? its beautiful!!

  • thats not the normal color they use some color light called nan light

you would think that at a show like aquarama they would have the best arowan but still they need the nan light to display the aros

  • Is that PeeCeeBee at Aquarama 2007? Well done! He can be the spokesman on arowana for Singapore :)
