Pasolini also made a movie called "The Gospel according to St.Matthew" he based it on St.Matthew's Gospel...but & this is the most important part. The actors that performed in the movie were not actors but people from real-Life,the Streets & his friends.Because he wanted it to have the feeling of being a part of real-life & speak to us all.
the Italian film maker Pier Paolo Pasolini(1922-75) believed in the visual Poetry of Cinema. In Italy there are many, many ways to speak Italian & also many body-languages & tones of voice & facial expressions.Pasolini believed that everyday people in the street have a Beauty, dignity & sense of humor that is unique,as expressed through everything they say & do.But,the thing he loved the most was the different accents in different regions & neighborhoods.TO See the words as both sound & face.
since Poetry is the "music" of Language, here is a Suggestion. And you could possibly be the Great Russian Poet of Globalized Cyber space for this NewMillenium.I can not tell the future but the longest journey always begins with a single-step.Since you like to speak in English & you love to write & read poems, here is the suggestion:To create a Poem that jumps back n forth between English & Russian.Since YOU are both the writer & the reader.,you could possibly create a NewForm for a NewGeneration?
I want you to know that I made my decision, Gave my word, Kept my promises, And chose to risk everything for you. When you woke up this morning, I was there. And I made my decision long ago, …I will always be there for you. I know you don’t always agree with me. I know sometimes I make you angry,And confused. But I want to be your Lord and your friend. I bought you with my own life. …Not so I could hurt you or desert you, (pt4)
And when you were unaware, When you worried, I was there, Always doing more for you than you realized. And before you were born I made a decision, In the garden, During the trial, In front of Pilate, On the way up the hill to Calvary, Each step, every breath, every moment, I made a decision… To give my life for you. I know you’ve been troubled at times, And lonely, afraid, and discouraged sometimes. But if you never give your heart to me, Or give anything to me,(pt3)
From all around…almost every day. But I made a decision, Every step of the way, To go to Jerusalem - For the world, for those that would love me, For those who would never, ever love me. I went for them - And I went for you. Oh I know all about you… Since you were little; I’ve made sure that you were taken care of. (p2)
Well that was a LOOOONNNNG poem ;o But Beautiful here's the translation- Dusty Roads - By Randy Stahla Ever since you were little, I was there while you slept, And I watched over you as the sun rose, Above the horizon. And I made a decision a long time ago, When my feet were heavy, And the road was dusty, To go to Jerusalem. My back hurt in the morning, When I woke up from sleeping on the ground, And my eyes were tired, As people started coming to see me,(pt1)
I challenge you to translate it to english (you probably can't translate it to portuguese, right?) and send me the translation. I'd really like to understand this poem. At least, it sounds beautiful.
you’re incredibly hot when you speak. i didn’t really understand a word you just said, but i could listen to you talk all day ^_^
ya kak vash Ushanka? (i hope i said that right)
-is it annoying to russians when people whose native language is english type stuff out phonetically? or does it not really matter if i wrote “я как ваш Ушанка ” instead?
@fabulousbite Your Russian is kinda good. Good try! "Like" can be как (which is "how" in English, actually) and can be нравится (or нравиться). In this case it's нравится. So you'd say, Мне нравится твоя ушанка. Твоя is informal, ваша is formal.
Fooooh, what a lesson.
But hey, thank you!
It's not annoying to me. People do it often when texting.
Your styles like Christopher drew.-.

But so that someday,
When the dusty roads and the tears are all gone,
We can be together forever…

Стихотворение звучит очен красиво, но не об этом то речь. Смысл втом что Иисус Христос является спасителем всего человечества.
