Hey!Very good vid ,very helpful. One quetion. When i click the bus buton i cannot enable post/pre/pan fader menu ,it does not apperar at all .please help .thnx
Hey m8, great video! One question, when you change the volume in the mixer, how to go back to default. Looks like you have a shortcut for it in the video. Thnx
Excellent tutorials! I have a question about something i've been trying to do (and don't know if its possible). I have logic express 8 and it doesn't let me bounce on .wav, only on .mp3.i hate the way .mp3 sounds. So I've tried to send all my tracks through a bus (bus 1) so that I can record all tracks into one track and pull out the audio files out of the audio files folder. But creating a new audio track and selecting bus 1 as an input doesn't work. Can anyone help me? I'd really appreciate it
Really love your tutorials! You are one of the best "teachers" here on Youtube, and you ALWAYS explain everything! I have a question I really hope you will answer:
1. In the song deadmau5 - Some Kind of Blue ( watch?v=PILwaqhFik8 ) at 0:30 (and many other places in the song) you hear some kind of sidechained noise FX. I watched you tutorial on how to make Transition FX with the ES2, but the FX in the song sounds different. Could you please make a tutorial on how to make it?
Very good video man, I have the new 2011 macbook pro with 8gb memory, but when dealing with 50+ channels in a logic file i run out, is there any techniques which you know to prevent this from happening? Also, do you know how to create sub-channels where one channel controls many others (say kick, snare, cymbals channels all direct into one drums channel)? Would love a tutorial on that!
@weedster999 if you are using alot of synth pulgins like es2 etc if you feel like you have your sound completed then you can print your sound to audio aka bounce the track to save the sound and effects with out running audio saving cpu
good god!! you always say "hope this's been useful", or "I hope youve understood that..." man, ive never ever even seen those small panles underneath the effect, and i never ever heard of busses and now i am totally aware of what they are good for. and all this via youtube. you are one of the greatest "teachers" ive ever learned of!! oO RESPECT!
Tutorial is awesome!!! ★★★★★ Im always was trying to understand how is it work and now with your help I do understand what I want to do on my track and how to safe CPU. But anyway i still looking forward to see some tutorial where u will show us how to make a cool whooosheee sound for breakdowns using ES2.

@Sytrusze Hold down alt and click. That shortcut re-centres most of the controls in Logic, quite useful.
