Not sure if anyone has told you this yet but, SHOGUNATE is an english word. It is pronounced SHOW-GUN-EIGHT, not SHOW-GUN-ATEH. Every time you talk about the Ashikaga, you mispronounce that word, and it is driving me insane.

Maybe you should have tried upgrading your castles; I assume you played the tutorial -> bigger castles allows better farms allows bigger armies, higher taxes and happier populations. Also makes it harder to take the castle.

dude, when u raid the prov for 7k, upgrade your castle. those that u can win or maintain. so when its done, u can train two of them at a go instead of one at a time.

I agree with what everyone below is saying. Worry about the takeda... Right now your vassal is goin on the offensive and will help a lot. Just give it time when the wars over you can do what you want with your vassal.

You need to focus on your economy. things to help that are by researching the way of Chi, improve farms and other profitable structures, raise taxes up again, and try to find trade or send out trading ships. The trade probaly won't work because everyone hates you and you don't have a navy. But what your doing is exciting and i guess it's kinda working

I agree that people need to stop yelling at you about every little thing. I just have one suggestion, pay more attention to the pop ups. Make sure you know what arts you're studying, make sure you know that you just got a new general, make sure you know you have skill points to spend, etc. You click through a lot of things quickly and miss a few things that could benefit you.

Also don't skip general speeches before the battle :(

you should really listen/ read what everyone is saying sorry to say but they are right. Leave you vassals alone they gave you the time to regain your army and territory without threat of attacks to close to home. Send your ninja deep in there territory and do some damage, possibly recruit another ninja. Build up the economy there are alot more better troops than the ones you have now. Protect the borders is all thats important until your economy and buildings are better. BETTER TROOPS!!!

GUYS , leave him alone ! What makes an LP interesting is seeing mistakes mixed with good decisions. I find boring the 'perfect' LP's .I actually enjoy this one , and the main reason is his 'not so perfect' way of playing and his reactions when something goes wrong. The only thing I wanna ask him is to not load back previous saves .

Noooooo dont kill your vassal think about it while he has that region your flank is secure so no need to waste troops there and he will build that area up ready for you to take a nice developed province plus if you attack now its diverting your troops away from the enemy clan thats attacking in the west so basically keep your vassal you need them

Sorry to say but with the way you play it, It's kinda clear you're not gonna win this campaign. I am just wondering if you're gonna continue play like this until that inevitable moment or you gonna start improving your gameplay. Your vassal is a trade partner isn`t he? Killing him leaves you with the Shogunate and they`ll hate you for that ich makes things even worse. Purely political and economical thinking: He is useful..somehow and right now you aren`t in the position to choose allies as your Daimyo needs to restore his honour first (send him to battle)

ok there a few things you need to think about one attak at night your guys are better at night second get more bows out there thier a lot better then one might think third stop usin thes weak units and get stronger units its like you a wooden sword trying to brake tho a steel wall fourth upgread your castils to make them stronger and harder to take fith get your ecom up you are fighting on two fronts and about to make a third with a low ecom get the up even sun taiz would not like that

I have to kinda agree with bomfinkie here. Your vassals just annihilated an army for you. If they leave their troops where they are, you could build an army and push through Takeda territory without worrying about them coming through your vassals territory. Besides, it will take an army to kill your vassals main army, which you don't have right now. You would have the takeda raping your territory while you are fighting your ex-vassal, and bring dishonor and more enemies to your borders.

If they feel like it they could just rebel and fight against him turning his "secure flank" into a new enemy.

What he should do is assure diplomatic relations are secures (marriage, etc) and then move to attack the takeda.

Dude, use NIGHT ATTACK! Not only you prevent the enemy from having access to its reinforcements, your general also receives an expressive bonus in his command points > you kill a lot more at the cost of a LOT less. Remember you're supposed to be the ninja clan.
