I still have my pink vinyl copy of The Big Come Up that my dad brought back from a business trip to ohio in '03. when I bought "Thickfreakness" and thought i was in heaven...the keys are my youth, from high-school, through college, and now onto a career 8,000 miles from home... even in a place so foreign when I hear those songs always flash back to my first kiss ( Jane Jones in my '86 Rx-7)...thank you Black Keys for making those memories so accessible and you know for the music too.
