i don't understand i'm pretty sure none of the fellowship was involved in the war in the north AFTER the fellowship was formed...before it was formed gandalf and aragorn were pursuing gollum in the evil mirkwood forest, where sauron's fortress outside of the plains of gorgoroth used to lie, but it was destroyed by galadriel i believe...anyways, looks like it's a good game

@Triforce179 I am not so butthurt over the fact that they wrote their own story because there is a LOT of space to fill in the "History of Middle Earth" and that is what Tolkien intended and wanted. What does upset me a decent bit is the fact they chose the most crowded and well chronicled point to do it in. The actual war in the north was the attempt to take and subsequent siege of Erebor which I believe would have made an excellent subject for a video game. Oh well, I guess.

This game is a complete slap in the face to the story as it was written. The movies were an acceptable modification but this is just a complete rewrite. There are so many untold tales in the story as it was written that they could have taken for a game, but instead they come up with this infantile bull.
