Scandinavian countries don't have so many inmigrants in their countries, there are much more in others. But unfortunately the reaction against them is stronger here. They also see the people coming from south Europe to belong to the same group. I am the product of immigration and I am very liberal on social issues, but I think it is despicable that we are trying to accommodate a belief system that is riddled with so much intolerance. Scandinavian countries don't have so many inmigrants in their countries, there are much more in others. But unfortunately the reaction against them is stronger here. They also see the people coming from south Europe to belong to the same group. And they still don't realize that they also had (and have) a very large emgration rate (one of largest of Europe (Sweden is the second after Ireland) and they also use the benefits these countries offer them.

It wasn't a buffet of state handouts.
Immigrants to Scandinavian countries get some of the most generous welfare handouts, whether they integrate to society or not. These two eras are difficult to compare.

I used to support multiculturalism. I am the product of immigration and I am very liberal on social issues, but I think it is despicable that we are trying to accommodate a belief system that is riddled with so much intolerance. The intolerant aspects of Islam need to be addressed, not accommodated in the name of "cultural cohesion".
I love freedom, and this is why I am critical of Islam. Any country where Islam rules, freedom is non-existent. Be proud of your culture, it is true freedom...
