At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country OF PARENTS WHO WERE ITS CITIZENS became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens." Obama was never eligible because of his British father.

2. Waite also noted that the case did not answer whether NBC required citizen parents since the plaintiff had citizen parents.

The only precedent setting case that made that distinction was US v Wong Kim Ark. No citzen parent required, You fail

This also only applied to documents created after he became president, it did not apply to his birth certificate, school records, or any other document created before January 20, 2009.
