I like the brisk tempo - maybe because I´ve heard and played this piece so much - It holds it nicely together. He playes for the listener in mind: everything is so clear and true to the score.

What a master Feuermann is. This is a great performance.
I wish someone would post his performance of R. Strauss' "Don Quixote" with Toscanini Live @1936. I own it but it would nice to have it available to others who do not.
Never thought that I would ever utter the words-even better than Rostropovich or Casals. Well this simply blows them both away.-great as they both were.Even the orchestra and conductor are in total harmony. This is in a word-SUPERB!
