  • I have goosebumps watching this

  • Looking back at this, I don't think the beginning is much more different than skanking

  • OLD SKOOOOOOLL!!! :D Go Jason woo woo

  • man this is old as shit. This inspired me alot back then.

  • man this is in santa monica on the piere i go there all the time

  • was this at the Metreon or at Santa Monica? The guy on the other side looks like Yoshi?

  • I think this performance deserves higher on the countdown. Definately one of the most important freestyles of all-time!

  • I'm in the back, not kidding. I was only 12 and this guy inspired me like no other. I do his exact same moves on am3p expert but I will never look as smooth as him. this is actually v.1 not 1.5

  • How can this be v1? I don't think AM-3P was out then. I thought AM-3P was a 2nd mix song in the first place. The BANNER is definitely of 1/1.5 times though.

  • its most likely 2nd mix and they havent replaced the banner

  • @jouvamoufette maybe it was the USA version 1

  • I joined in a freestyle tourney that J-Dogg was playing in way back in like, '98 and damn I got smoked lol

  • Is it just me, or does that look like the north entrance of the arcade at Santa Monica Pier?

  • You can find the original guys on ddrfreak.net.

And does anybody know if the guy in red is Supply?

I remember he wore red that same tournament.

  • You can find the originals on ddrfreak.net.

They have every original including J-Dogg, Supply, Mel B, and others!

  • what mix is this? 3rd mix and 4th mix plus were the first to show up around my town. plus i had 1st-4th, + and extra bootlegged for my psone =D

  • 1.5 I believe...this was one of the very first US tournaments ever recorded. :)

  • YES! This is where someone in my arcade got that routine... Now I know the source of my bitery >:D Frikkin' guy's head in the way... I WANT TO SEE THE FEET AT WORK!!

  • The most amazing thing about this freestyle is at it's time heavy step charts were considered insanely difficult and for anyone to even try a freestyle on that kind of stepchart (and much less pull off one) was an amazing accomplishment. Good choice :)
