@flashdamingo The Knife is still together in one piece, it has seen some work, the handle has not split which is good. Its still a very nice size in my opinion. It can be used as a "small:" chopper and wood splitter and it can also be used to perform other sundry tasks. Overall experience with this knife is more than satisfactory.
Well, look at their conditions. Weather's unpredictable. Their concrete's not that great, it crumbles easy, and is just bad. Their winters are cold and could freeze anything. lol. They just make things suitable for their conditions. So, yea. Pretty much. lol.
It is very sturdy. I would have preferred an elastron rubberized handle rather than the wood but that is just my personal preference. I have chopped and cut some hefty pieces of wood and meat with this knfe and it is quite strong - no annoying vibrations when hacking through hardwoods and the steel is good, it holds an edge quite well.
