Hutch moved?LOL~~Ok ,i can`t seriously not comment on how brilliant these two were ,and what an amazing show..LOVE the always gorgeous David ,and ,as for PMG..THo` ,"Hutch" was my favourite ,boy does he ever look sexy with his shirt that way...way nicer imagining the rest!:LOL
Thanks for posting!!Soo loving these trips down memory lane!!
@easlesonavon Did you see the way her head bobbles at the end when Starsk and Hutch come up the drive way? It's like her neck has a spring in it... and her eyes are looking at idek what. I lol every single time. She's such a bad actress hahahaha.
This is the 5th episode of the first season.... AWESOME!!! episode, The only other two men that had that much in sync other than Soul and Glaser... were Duel and Murphy on Alias Smith and Jones
Ever noticed...in that scene from the pilot that they show in the theme sequence...the car chase...why do the bad guys pull into the parking lot behind them?
@stillluvit It is not exactly "the bad guys" following them. If you remember the pilot, Starsky and Hutch think that Tallman has a hit out on them. Tallman sends two of his goons to follow Starsky and Hutch and bring them back to his place to tell them that he is not the one after them. They are following Starsky and Hutch and Starsky decides to see if they are, indeed, being tailed. They pull into a parking lot, the goons pull in after them, only to be told Tallman wants to see them.
@floribellae That is from the pilot episode, and I read that David Soul hurt his back doing that. They did all their own stunts, at least for the pilot. I'd like to know if they did them for all the episodes...some are really good!
Banner1979 is correct: probably the best episode of the best season. The subject matter is stark and even repulsive for the time (1975), which makes it even more fascinating.
Brutally quick, no-holds-barred shootout at the end, sensitive acting by Soul in the epilogue, and Robert Loggia as the heavy!!!
Doesn`t get any better than this! (Well, maybe...in the series`finale when Starsky gets gunned down in the parking lot.)
I honestly think David Soul should have gotten some kind of an award for his acting in this. It's the first S&H I ever seen and it's my all-time favorite!!
One of the greatest ever episodes of S&H. Superbly realistic acting from Glaser and Soul, a very fast pace, top action and a fab storyline. In its early years, this show was unbeatable.
This is the only eppy of the whole series that I remember, and it was always a favorite....although I was hot for Starsky (what female wasn't, loved that sweater he wore!), I LUSTED for Hutch....thirty-three years later, PMG is definitely better looking, and he'd get the draws.
@Sweetbabyvixen I don't know, I love them both, but still would pick Hutch over Starsky. It's that soft voice and blond hair, I guess. But wouldn't turn Starsky down, that's for sure! He has his own list of attributes, that's for sure!
thanks for posting some of my favorite S & H episodes - The Fix - The Plague - Shootout - A coffin for Starsky and The Pilot - this episode I have never seen before. Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany.
Can't belief you doing this for us. Im so happy to see this two guys with their original voices. That no compare to the german sync. voices. Thank you so so much!!!
OMG! Thank you so so so so much for uploading this! I'm a new fan and this is the one episode I've been wanting to see, and I was actually about to request it. Can't wait for the rest of the parts! Thanks again, you've made my night XD

The woman who played Jeannie was beautiful, but what a bad actress! The way she stretches out the word "Hutch" every time she says it. Sheesh!

You have to wonder...why didn't they just follow Hutch to where Jeannie is?
stillluvit 9 months ago
@stillluvit Good question. But then how else could the writers have written a fix story?

This is one of my all time favorite eps of any show during the 70's and 80's. They both made this ep work, but it's incredible acting by David Soul.

I've never been fond of D. Soul; yet P.M. Glaser is a fabulous actor. What a shame we don't see more of him on stage or screen!
