Mmmm...the "darling" slaters are a delight to our chooks too.....I am not mulching with straw...or building layered beds at moment...as the slaters seem to thrive in the multi layered appartment living of the "lasagne" garden in Year 1 video clip...Deb

Those "slater" beetles are a nuisence.The chooks eat them like crazy! Dont give up.The experts on ABC fail to mention these little buggers.
