really ive found the best results (100% effective) start with two inches water in two liter bottle squeeze bottle in the middle(squeezing the bottle makes it a slight bit safer putting the cap on) add the dry ice(1/3 cup or so) screw the cap on tightly set it and forget it..

TIPS:

1.All dry ice bombs explode eventualy. There are no duds.

2. Remmber what drink was in the bottle. water has no expansion, so waterbottles are a much flimsier plastic. Soda expands greatly, so the plastic is tough enough to take the pressure.

Therefore a water bottle will break much earlier than a soda bottle
