Ok so I tried you idea and put in broccoli seeds. The stems are really really getting lanky and there falling over, could it be not enough light. Think i need to get a grow light. (prob huh) If you know what im doing wroung could you tell me , thanx.
@oldskoolhead0 As it turns out, most of my issues last winter was due to temperatures being way too cold, like 20 degrees too cold. LOL This year will tell the tale. I have a way easier self watering 2 liter design coming out soon. Just have to find the time to make the video. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Ice storms here. Qaurter inch to half inch. Finally got to my to 2 days off from work but can't get to my house or hydroponics store :-( Stuck at the GF's house but glad to be "stuck" with her as to being stuck alone. But I need a huge air stone and a water heater to proceed.
I pinched off two branches to force it to bush right after I did the video. I did the same with the Brandywines. The tallest first then the soil based one 2 days later. I wish I had more money for lights and electricity to brave more experiments but I don't. Then again, room under the lights is also a premium. It was a hard decision.
Thanks Brendan! I have like 15 pepper plants started. I think they all came up which amazed me but then again, what am I going to do with them all? LOL At least 2, maybe 4 are going to be hydro grown. Half on front of a window and the other half by fluorescents. I need a bigger tent and a bigger light! When do you normally start your seedlings? Do you start them in the greenhouse only or inside with artificial lights?
Yes they would be but alas, there are none to be found here.

@GospelTruth37059 Lanky? Not enough light and you need a fan to blow on them to that creates a chemical in the plant to strengthen the stem.

Very healthy looking! I'm thinking of starting pepper seeds indoors to try to get a head start so this is really interesting me.
Best Wishes, Brendan.
