FAIL. Scanning passengers doesn't stop bombs from getting on airplanes. The aircrews, maintenance crews, cleaning & service crews, and baggage crews can place bombs on a plane. Also, most commercial airliners carry mail in the cargo hold so anyone with a few stamps can get a bomb onboard. Scanners are just a big FOR profit tax on passengers & has zero to do with terrorism. The shoe bomber & underwear bomber suspects were both gov't plants and part of the same CIA psyops given inert devices.

I refused the body scanner in LAX, waited 15 minutes for someone to legally sexually assault me, and then I got put on a watch list. Oh and the other people, walking through the scanner looked at me like I was some sort of criminal. Ignorance is bliss isn't it?

the radiation of the scanners only goes 1/10 of an inch into you. A cell phones radiation goes 1 1/2. The scanners aren't that bad, you just put your arms up, stand there for a few seconds and be on your way. The bad thing is that if a terrorists hid a bomb up his ass or put a bomb in a fake tooth and stuck it in the back of his mouth, the scanner would not pick it up.

These x-ray scanners have been lobbied right into every major airport in America...someone is making a lot of money off these machines, and they were able to sell them in the name of fear! the radiation of the scanners only goes 1/10 of an inch into you. A cell phones radiation goes 1 1/2. The scanners aren't that bad, you just put your arms up, stand there for a few seconds and be on your way. The bad thing is that if a terrorists hid a bomb up his ass or put a bomb in a fake tooth and stuck it in the back of his mouth, the scanner would not pick it up.

Those who Opt-Out should be put in a PRIVATE room, per their requests, be given a number and told they will be taken in order.
TSA should then do the pat downs as quickly as possible.
After about 45 mins, when about half of the Opt-Outs have missed their flights, go out and ask the waiting crowd if anyone wants to Opt-Out.
Wonder how many of those brave souls will raise their hands then?

I don't get it: I've been flying to Europe (Spain) every single year for the past 34 years and there was nothing wrong with the security procedures implemented before. Why the hell are they coming out with this bullshit? Are they purposely trying to aggravate people or what???

@sccracing Islam is guilty of the same crime as the American Indian.They live on top of something we want:OIL!Everyone knows that's what these wars are really about.But they can tell people the truth or they wont go for the wars.Presenting the people against whom the wars must be fought as a threat is the ONLY way to get people on board with the wars.The wars wouldn't be possible without 911 & the US Government was preparing for the wars BEFORE 911.What does that tell you?911=inside job.

If you think it just so happened in the past ten years, you're sorely mistaken which is the typical view of most Americans who have no clue as to the real magnitude of the Muslim/Christian conflict. This battle is but one of the many which has plagued the Muslim/Christian world for thousands of years. Here's an idea...why don't you get caught up on world history, then claim to understand the WHOLE picture.
