  • I use this mouse with my Macbook Pro but I find no matter how much I tweak it I don't really get the accuracy I want to point at things faster...

I am wandering if any mouse mat / pad would help this? if so which one? and would this be the main reason I'm not getting the accuracy? as I'm currently using this on my wooden desk...

    Let me know guys...

  • 800dpi. yeah.. eight hundred.. pretty cappy sesitivity...

  • i like your pronunciation.

If you can get better audio and video, and maybe sometimes present us with your face, or even your upper body in a desk or something, you would really turn out to be a good reviewer. Along with your full content explanations, you can get at the best there is.

  • @dvdcastav hi, ye i do apologise for any swearing in this video, this was made 2 years ago lol im nothing like that now, i mean i review a lot of mice and will in a few weeks reviewing the NEW VERSION OF THIS MOUSE, the PERFORMANCE MX MOUSE...i dont show my face in these hardware reviews, but ill try to show up once in a while lol thanks for your comment !

  • you r talking 20mins just about the mouse and its technology??

    get a life

  • @Mr5eXLove If you dont like the video dont watch it, how about that?

  • @Mr5eXLove Thanks for your comment, don't bother again....What have you done on YouTube that is so great, what great content are you making on YouTube that you can be proud of, nothing much, so stop wasting your life annoying people and go something good...

  • there are actually 11 mouse buttons.. the left-right function of the scrollwheel is customizable as all the buttons.

  • Oh, and the mouse buttons wore out on my old MX mouse as well. What I mean by worn out is that when I would select some text on a page with the mouse to highlight, while holding down the mouse button, it would release on it's own.

I would down the left button to highlight some text and the button would just release on it's own even though I was still holding down the button. It was a right pain in the butt and started to do it only once in a while but then at the end it was all the time.

  • My mouse lasted aproximately 7 months of hard use before the battery charge was severely less, at 1 year it would hold a charge that lasted about 2 hours. I replaced it with a newer model of the MX mouse which has a replaceable AA rechargeable mouse,

With this hyperscroll I can scroll down to line 4500 in one of my spreadsheets in just a couple flicks of the mouse wheel. When your battery doesn't hold a long enough charge 4 you, go buy the newer MX mouse with the replaceable battery.

  • haha love that you love your mighty mouse

  • Something wrong with your audio quality? Nice review :)

  • does this have on-the-fly DPI changes? i mean, can you change the DPI without opening system prefs?

  • you can use the software to have it go to hyper fast from precision scroll mode automatically (if you spin it fast enough).

  • WARNING MX Revolution may stop charging on recharger mine did! wasnt happy about it especially when the mouse was nearly $200 XD if logitech dont provide me wit new charger i say stick wit USB mouses.

  • great mouse... useless guy... what a twit..he is so exited about this hahaha

  • GOD DAMN ADDS

  • that was a nice, detailed review. but it would have been better if you were a pc user cause a lot of people who buy this mouse would be using it for gaming.

  • Mice is plural for mouse

  • My stepmum still uses a ball mouse. It's an old wireless one. Stupidly, she doesn't use a mousemat. She REFUSES to get a new mouse. *sigh*

  • How about the batteryt life?

I heard the battery aged pretty fast. If that's true, I would rather choose the mx 1100 with a replacement duel AA.

  • I've had mine for more than 2 years now. I can say that the battery has lost it's performance, but I can still use it for around 2 days with one charge. If I'm using it for the whole day (say, more than 10 hours nearly non-stop) it will eat the charge in a day. Also, I did have some problems with the recharging, but just wiping the metal contact panels on the dock and the mouse got rid of that.

  • i use the side scroll for my music

    its AWSOME

  • There is actually 13 buttons. The side wheel has 3 (forward , backwards and click) the two back and forth button that's 5 in all, the two left and right click (7 in all), the search button (that's 8), and the top wheel actually has 5 (two to the sides, one with clicking, and two back and fourth). That is 13 buttons.

  • ....by where do you feed the hamster inside?

    anyway....so....the mouse eat an hamster?!...

    wow! that's technologie!....

  • I can't stop with that rolling XD

  • Lol, ball in a mouse. I see some people with them still. It really is sad.

  • How does the side "scroll" feel? Is it like the zoom rocker on most digital cameras? What functions can you assign to it? Thanks in advance, great video :)

  • is it bad for gaming ?

  • the buttons make this mouse for gaming, verry compelling, but the wheel gets annoying, because its too sensitive, when i play COD4, i have to spin the wheel twice to change weapon, rather than 1. so id think about another mouse, that doesnt have this wheel. still a great mouse, for pro apps.

  • cord or cordless, to me there is no difference in performance, but most GAMING MICE, are all corded so there must be a reason, but when i play cod4, i see no difference, but if u really want to focus on gaming, get a GAMING MOUSE.

  • thanks for replying, i actually play WoW and i need a mouse with a lot of buttons and that one got plenty !

but i've heard that because it's cordless it lags alot .. i mean when u move the mouse u see the pointer moves after a while (delay) so did u face this problem ?

  • nope never, simple as that.lol

  • hey Adrian, what corded mice would you say I should get for gaming?

I play stuff like - Crysis, Burnout, Dawn Of War, Call Of Duty...

    list a few mice please...

    thanks...

  • loghitec g5

    and

    razer deathadder

these are corded mice and g5 is one of the best it was for gaming

and deathadder is a mouse used by pro and other people both of them are 1800 dpi i think

both of them are great and not that expensive

  • get momba its like razer but wireless

  • 11 buttons actually there is left and right click

  • mighty mouse sux!

  • how laggy is is, please reply i might buy it

  • my wheel doesn't spend endlessly like on yours... mine was refurbished, whether that makes a difference I don't know butcan you help

  • sometimes on some pages the mouse will automatically switch to non-endless mode.

  • if you tap the shiny black bit it shows the batery icon

  • Ugh mighty mice are so trash because of their crap ergonomics. APPL is terrible at making comfortable products. Hockey puck mouse *shrudder*

  • YES, I bought one with my iMac and hated it, I went back to using a $5 logitech usb mouse but I'm buying one of these MX's this afternoon.

  • do you like the mouse?

  • u don't need to turn it on and off to see the battery status... every couple of seconds it will show you the status ... i think it needs to be idle for a second or two though and then move it to see the battery life

  • i just got my MX revolution like 3 days ago, one of my fav mice, you are so right, it is hard to get used to it, i used the mighty mouse for like 3 months....although i am used to it already and i love it

  • DRBUK: This better then the mighty mouse? Debating getting one...

  • I just bought this one and I like the Mx Revolution like 10x better

  • of course for some reason i have mx revoulution 4 my pc and the other version of the mx mouse 4 my macbook pro 17in.

  • you know there is a real mouse in the computer mouse

  • Seriously?

  • no!!

  • The love of a man and his mouse

  • lol

  • yea drbuk im planning to buy a macbook pro and i need to see your mac buying guide =[ idk if i should wait to buy the mac im planning on buying it on november

  • my advice is buy what u want in august, sept oct, if u buy any later jsut wait till january for new products,

  • i'm only going to have 1.7k hopefully, when new product comes out they cost a lot

  • thats the thing, when apple put new products they dont increase the price, they say u get more for the same price, now and then they increase but its rare, if anything if u watched my rumor videos i talked about possible price drops and even if increase the price its pretty small. 1.7k sounds good to go.

  • lol fast scrolling

  • DRBUK, i think you should start your series of how to buy a mac... and not do 3 videos on ur mouse. Since updates are coming in august with the back to school thing... i would really like to see some videos on how to buy a mac (guide). Thanx

  • whatever i do, i cover it in as much detail as i can, thats what my videos are, detailed. i dont plan on the lengths i just plan what i need to say. this mouse require a lot of detail, the more detail i give the easier it is for others to have confidence in buying the mouse. the buying a mac guide is on the way, like i said, when i have time ill start vids on that. thanks

  • alright. sorry if i sounded offensive(i know you're really busy), i love ur videos and all, but i just can't wait for those mac guide videos because i'm literally craving for a mac. I hate my windows box. but anyway keep up the good work. peace

  • lol no no, not at all, its all good, i have one more vid uploading and then one more vid on software, and that should be it. i mean the buying a mac vid isnt too bad, because ppl always email me and i take time out to respond to there ques but lately jus been busy so ppl asked for the video series. thanks
