An orchestration really loses the heart of the song. The original trio had a Mexican/spaghetti western feel that contrasted itself nicely from the heroic, adventurous orchestration found throughout the rest of the soundtrack. The original was simple, rustic, and mysterious, befitting the Gerudo.

To me, the single greatest piece of music in gaming. The combination of the game, the dessert, the temple soon following it and a great track make it unbeatable. I think this version would've been improved with incorporating a spanish guitar player. To me a big part of the spirit of the song is the heavy flamenco influence, and hearing an orchestrated version without it (while still great) loses some of that initial spirit.

This music is amazing, far better than most game soundtracks these days. While I am a fan of newer games, I have to say that any Nintendo game (especially in the Zelda/Pokemon series) are amazing no matter the graphics. Games need to focus on an amazing story, then focus on having over the top hD graphics :)

God damn. This is the only game I've ever played along with Pokemon Silver where I look back and DON'T think that nostalgia has clouded my judgement. It truly was one of the best games I've ever played. I've completed it thoroughly and obsessively 5 or 6 times over the course of my life, and I'll no doubt play it again in the future. I personally can't see any flaws in it at all, save perhaps the existence of Kaepora Gaebora.
