The choice of date for placing this item on the web is also intended to mark the first anniversary of the death of Marios Tokas on 27th April 2008 (on Orthodox Easter Sunday one year ago), when mourners at the graveside spontaneously sang this song to express their last goodbyes to this great Cypriot artist. There is continuing profound sadness and grief still felt deeply by very many people at the premature passing of that great man, Marios Tokas.
