  • 10-6-2011. He's gettin' his kicks at 56. Happy Birthday, Tony.

  • He is truly a man of God!

  • Hey im a pats fan, but Tony Dungy will forever be one of my favorite coaches

  • this dude aint black, he's a damn redneck

  • I like Tony Dungy. I find him to be an inspring man. I don't incorporate the Christ theme in my life the way he does, but I generally like his approach to life.

  • Quiet Strength... best book ever.

  • Tonight, I saw Tony and his wife, hawking their new Children's book on Gretta Van Sustern. Gaggg me! Your own son killed himself. Who do they think they are????When people seem to good to be true it's because they are!

  • I am sick to death with Tony Dungy being hailed as a perfect Christian, coach, father, mentor, etc.

Nobody but his own children know what type of father he is. Why, with everything so pefect, in the Dungy family, would his son committ suicide??? Why would Tony never address the cause of his son's suicide and provide wisdom and leadership efforts to prevent this type of thing in the future.

  • You are so inspiring

  • I miss Coach Dungy =(.

  • tony grungy = house nigga

  • He is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fuckin ugly

  • @Markmanlonpe

    most talented people are

  • @Markmanlonpe You need to examine your heart.........where and why is all that hatefulness coning out of you?? You must be a very un happy person and I would suggest to you that you need to do some self reflecting!

  • Tony Dungy=Al Sharpton of the NFL

  • I've always respected Tony Dungy, but his desire to suddenly push his beliefs on others by being the language police and suggesting the NFL should penalize Rex Ryan because he used "bad words" (oh my God, an adult who swears around other adults? what's the world come to?) is really obnoxious. Look, if you have faith, I respect that. That's cool, and I don't put that down. But if you having faith means you think you can tell me or anyone else what can or cannot be said, Fuck Off.

  • he hates fags and loves dog murdering quarterbacks, you christians are fucking hypocrites

  • @leo12namath Christians (who are truly following the Word) don't hate "fags", they hate the act of homosexuality. As Christians, we are called to love the sinner, but hate the sin. Does Tony Dungy love dog murdering? No. Does he love the person doing the act? As a Christian, thats what we are called to do. I'm sorry that you feel the way you do. I hope sometime you see a true example of a Christian after God's heart, such as Coach Dungy. There aren't enough of them around today...

  • @leo12namath Dungy has one thing you'll never have. Class.

  • @DontCancelThisAcctYT yeah it takes alot of class taking shots at coaches he doesent like and saying he wouldnt hire him when he's never met the person,go fuck yourself church freak

  • @leo12namath 1. When did he ever say he hated homosexuals? 2. Michael Vick has did his time and said he is sorry for what he has done. Forgiveness is a strong christian quality.

  • Coach Dungy is inspiring both on and off the field. He shares his faith with us which is the source of his success. Thank you for posting this video. I have watched it many times.

  • Im white and do not judge this man by the color of his skin but by the content of his character. He has a heart of gold and stuns me to see anyone negative toward him. Best coach ever and goes far from the field. Inspires people to be better men and woman of God and see life different then the world does in are time. Thats soo important. He will never get enough credit until he stands before the throne of almighty God

  • I'm a devout ATHEIST but I have to say this man is pure class. Pure class! Loved the book.

  • The man is a hero, in all 5 senses of the word. RIP

  • @Frenizzle

    The man is still alive

  • Hey it's Herm Edwards' long lost twin brother.

  • Tony - I am reading "Quiet Strength and love it!" I look forward to reading the next chapter when I have a free chance during the day or at night. I will let you know how I felt about the rest of your book once I finish the book. I enjoy your religous beliefs as well. Peace.

  • he mah cousin

  • I do not personally know Tony, but I think its twisted to judge him for the death of his son. That occurence must have been a true travesty. The fact that he is able to keep on going after such a tremendous loss is a testament of his true strength and character. Rtruss, I want you to re examine what you typed, because your statement is pretty heartless.

  • Tony is a smooth-talking Fundie, a James Dobson type. Don't be fooled.

  • WTF happened to the comments section?

  • in MY oppinion greatest coach 2 ever be in the NFL

  • Again, majoring in the minor, to the neglect of the major, Tony Dungy is a hero, yes. Perhaps we would serve ourselves and our nation best if we set aside our differences to focus on what can be done now given that which we have to work with. I say, let's not down President Obama, G-d may well be working in his life even though many cannot understand how he is doing it. No further comment.

  • So blasphemous one-worlder Barack Obama has named the great Tony Dungy, a Christian I have great admiration for, to his White House Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Perhaps Dungy is unaware of Obama's evil or sees opportunity for good in accepting. Will be watching, as Dungy's acceptance is a bit of a shock. Dungy's book "Quiet Strength" is phenomenal, btw, highly recommend.

  • Update: Praise God! Thank you Jesus! Tony Dungy ended up declining Obama's invitation to join his ungodly Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Whew, this avoids all the confusion that could've been caused to the harm of the brethren. Now only non-Christians & a bunch of obviously heretical "Christians" remain on it. Dungy does extend offer to advise on fathering.

  • Tony dungy is amazing, loved the book!

  • Tony Dungy is one of the most underrated coaches in NFL history...he doesnt need to belittle grown men or force players to fit his scheme when they arent working..hes a HALL OF FAMER for sure

  • Why is that when a famous person such as a NFL coach says he's a Christian & carries the trait of being one is suddenly is a hypocrite? Yes no one is perfect but he is certainly no hypocrite at all. He's a good man.

  • I love it! When I read posts like this, I realize Tony did exactly what he should have. Keep hating, and we will keep loving.

    God Bless!

  • A good Coach an incredible MAN! The Colts will miss your steady hand!

  • Human kind needs more people like Tony; truly, a man.

  • Toby Dungy is an amazing, smart man.

  • Tony Dungy is such a great man! God bless him!

  • This is a fantastic biographical video. I have a tremendous amount of respect for any person...such as Tony Dungy...who is neither ashamed nor afraid of taking a stand for the faith. Despite comments to the contrary, there is zero "hypocrisy" for an "African American" to love God and honor Him...just as any other believer. Simply put, it is NOT the "color" of ones skin that defines ones true character...nor has any relevancy whatsoever to being an "adopted" child of God (through Faith).

  • ony dungy is a class act and a great guy. every coach should strive to coach like he does. also, he's an ex-gopher which makes him even better!

  • The book was fine until he said his son killed himself(suicide, which is murder). If his son did not genuinely repent and deliberatly killed himself before his last heartbeat and breath he is not saved. Eternal Security is a Blasphemous Lie from hell.

  • One of the greatest coaches in the history of the National Football League. His faith in God has helped shape him into a beloved person. Tony Dungy is truly an inspiration.

  • Homosexuality is a choice. Not being for homosexuality is a choice. We all need to learn how to respect everyone's decision rather than tell them it is wrong. It is all a choice; that is how we get through life.

  • Msouljier, homosexuality is NOT a choice. I personally know people who are gay. They did NOT choose to be gay. Why would ANYONE choose to be gay? It's like asking if someone would choose to be black or white? I DO respect Dungy's decision (despite his hypocrisy as an African-American). I DON'T agree with it, however.

  • There is a HUGE difference between ones "race" and their "sexual orientation". No one chooses their specific ethicnicity, but they do "choose" their own sexual orientation. Homosexuality is NOT a civil right. Think about it logically, is Homosexuality biologically natural? Of course not! Regardless of ones Faith or political views, No one can legitimately argue that two men for instance...are anatomically meant to be together. In contrast, a man and a woman are uniquely made for procreation.

  • is that towards me or tony dungy?

  • It's sad that you have to insult someone who went through so much to reach success. Everybody goes through hard times so why hate? It's just reflection of your mind beneath everybody else feet.

  • I am not insulting Tony Dungy. Tony Dungy is my cousin. I was insulting someone who was insulting him

  • Why would you call someone else "nigger" when your black? Insulting yourself also.

  • Ok, I know I should'nt have used that word, but he insulted him enough for me to say it.

  • Ok. I can uderstand defending a family member but it's the other person fault for not taking time to enjoy some inspiration.

  • One of the greatest Christian leaders there is

  • Best Coach Ever!!!!

  • bigjake7558 hes more classy than you or anyone in your family will ever be
