It's definitely amazing to be able to take time out of your day to help out like this. Especially when you don't have to book time off or ask permission to a boss. That's one of the perks of being your own boss and I can feel your gratitude Oliver.

well, to be completely honest, I am not the only Dad who volunteers. But most of the other dads have to ask their bosses.

That's great Oliver. It is the small things in life that count, that's so true. When you have the freedom to help out here and there without it being a big deal it feels so good. When I'm out and about, people ask "are you on holiday?" "No, I'm just free as I choose", "I have some team calls later, so better get back to them, don't want to miss them".
