Thank you for ministering and sharing even though you were hurting. This truly minitered to my broken spirit and dying body in end stage renal disease. God is surely with the weak, needy, and broken. I am in God's hands and rested as you sang, and was blessed. I treasure the words spoken and my heart praises God through your worship. May God richly bless you.
I first heard this song just days after I was told that bone scans have shown that some of my injuries have stopped trying to heal. I was broken! My wounds truely won't heal. But it made me realize God is right there and though I'm in constant pain and always will be, God is holding me through it all, moment by moment til forever passes by. Thanks so much for this!!!
The first tiem I heard this wonderful song was at the Exodus conference in San Diego in 1994. Dennis provided the music for the whole conference. He sang many marvelous songs but this one and Daddy's Song ministered to tme the most. Thanks Dennis.
One of my favorite songs, Jesus Christ lead me to this song through my bother in law (more of a real brother) Greg Webster, Jesus used Greg and Dennis Jernigan to lead me into music ministry. God allowed me to shared this song with thousands of kids in the youth music ministry....Thank you God, Thank you Dennis, Thank you Greg!
"I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life."
(Psalm 119:93)
I have a deep desire for closer intimacy with my Lord...to do that I must know Him and what He wants for me...His Word should be etched on my heart...then I can go to Him and just bask in His love
one of my favorites, makes me feel closer to Him, like a little child feels next to the comfort and strength of the parent. When you are next to Him, you are in the protection of His Love.
One of the most beautiful devotional songs I've ever heard. Thank you to Dennis and thank you for posting.
