I went to a counting crow concert in the cities here in Minnesota and it just sucked. He changed how he sung all his songs.

I think its because, for this concert, it was not only counting crows. Some were not counting crows fans and others were. Some came to see Live only.

OOOH it was the Live/Counting Crows tour - that would've kicked arse! Live were my fav band from 13-17 right up til i turned on my tv and saw Counting Crows Vh1 Storytellers - and they've been my fav ever since... that would've been a killer tour!! damnit!

Some of the progression are strikingly familiar, especially right before the chorus. Seeing as CC loves to reference their own songs more than any other band, I'm not surprised that the two are similar. It's not a bad thing, just fun to notice.
