I found the same set recently, but here it misses about 4-5mins before "Damage" starts playing. I'm looking for the track that plays just before it. I really need to know!
I hope someone can help me.
And I really wish I was born about 20yrs earlier :( I was still wearing nappies when all the good stuff came out..
Closely listen to an Inception dvd made prior to the January the 8th Tucson shooting, especially around the dialogue, "Do It." Check my quotes for more information.
So pleased that there are people like you uploading for people like me. Can't thankyou enough. I loved Ellis Dee. Still do. Wish I could find a vid of him actually mixing, effortlessly sliding the crossfader to some rough tunes!! :) :) :)
bin lookin ages for dj ricky and funky B I HAD A TAPE YEARS AGO AND I CARNT IF IT WAS FEVER CREW AND IT WAS IN BLACKPOOL ABOUT 1992 I THINK THE CLUB WAS CALLED COOLERS ANY 1 NO IT N1 AND N1 TO THE UPLOADER OF THIS TUNE
the first tune is what its all about for me. Making the hair on your neck stand up. Thats what i love about more recent hardhouse tunes they recycle all the uplifting samples. "Music takes you round and round and round and round"
This is not Ellis dee, this is Greg J/Kid Bippy he did a couple of 92 super sets, check them out all wicked tunes and the best mixing you'll ever hear.
nice tunes and mash ups on the computer. clever bit of chop and paste. i dont reckon this is roy tho m8. i know him well and he couldnt really scratch that well. so maybe thats a compliment to yourself?...also sound quality is superior for a tape recorded in 1992. still good mash up m8.....
the scratching is on the records, theres a link to an ellis dee set in the sidebar, very much the same tracks played, you know him eh?, give him my respect!
Hahah i know Royston as well and he can scratch like a total badman!!! Check out Ellis Dee live @ Obsession The Dream Feb 1993!! Hes fucking smashing it and scratches loads on there !! Respect
Ellis Dee a fukin heavy dj! his sets were always wikid!!! still killin the one step beyond tape to this day, pass my rispect to the man, Is he spinnin the new revival hardcore do you no??
Wicked Mate!! U r a legend... followed yr links n got them sets back.. had the tape pack back in the day but along wiv all my others they got lent or nicked or lost.. Gutted but glad i got 1 set back... NICE ONE! x
Ellis Dee can be found rocking down Raindance on a regular basis, even Heading the bill at Fantazia NYE this year in Birmingham. Big on the breaks scene in london town and has a day job working as a tutor at Braintree college in essex i think. Last saw him DJ in the Raindance tent this summer @ Dance Island festival near cambridge, the rig and whole set up had a power failure on at least 5 times during his set. It was silly.
bobbitt187 , i just know how you feel and what you mean.after 1994 rave started to go down hill and go all cheesy. That why i got more into house tunes .though in my eyes alot of classic old school hard core, and house was both quite the same in vibe and feel.
When i first went out to parties and raves it was 1992, these were some of the best days of my life, it got me into MCing first before DJing. I here the bad boy come again track at it ends with blame - music takes you just being mixed in at the end. Superb who ever put this on. I want to revive all the rave seen, its known as old skool to most these days, but it will always be rave to me. How about it lets get the Rave Revival going. How about a name Revive Rave 08. Reply if interested.
i can so agree with you 1992 was my first experience at a universe in bath an i was only 14 years young naughty as fuck i know but those were the days but like everthing else money gets involved and commercilisation comes into it and ruins it for the real people but on the other hand makes certain folk a lot of easy cash. the scene back then was unique

me too- sorta makes me sad listening to this - you wanna go out and do it but its not there anymore - just glad i was there in 92-3 to experience the mad days real time
no reason to be sad....exalt in the reality that you experienced a revolution in music and attitude in the 90s....and had the time of your life when you were able :) It was shortlived but it still remains fond in the heart - beats to the rhythm eternally....wikidness!! :D
I've got the whole 2 hour mix this is taken from: DJ Krust I think (that's what it said when I downloaded it off some wack program). I've got two questions:
This mix has got a "full version" set?
The truth is that I knew about Dreamscape for the first time I've listened sets of Ellis Dee & Vinylgroover (about three years ago...)
And, where can I download this complete set or mix? Because I'm looking for it through the net, but there's no set :(
Thanks for your help! :D
